“Our first room smelled like mold and mildew and was filthy. There was a red substance on the drawers and the walls. The bedding had stains and felt damp. I never complain, but did complain to the front desk. At first , he argued with me and told me his cleaning staff had been there for fifteen years. They provided a buffet breakfast, but did not readily replace the food and drink as it was used up. Often there was very little left by 8am. The pool water looked very dirty.”
