The staff were very accommodating and while we did have a problem with our room- a leak from an air con unit- they were not in control of- they were quick to move us to another room. Food was good- with three restaurants to choose from. The gym facilities were excellent and the indoor pool a welcome extra as we visited at the end of October. Mornings could be a bit chilly but the afternoons were beautiful and spent by the outdoor pools. Would recommend.”

“What a fantastic place. Somewhere to relax, eat well and recover. Great service at all stages. A modest menu choice wise but excellent in quality, locally sourced products full of flavour. A family run hotel and it shows. The whole ambiance is spot on. A place for the summer, nice pool and gardens with patios to sit out on and enjoy food and wine. For winter I spotted a fab lounge with a big working fireplace. Rooms are light, airy and very comfortable. Small terrace to sit outside. ”

“We loved our tent, but it was in need of some repairs. There was wood that needed to be nailed/screwed so it was squeaking in the wind all night. We used a towel to wedge and mostly stop the noise. There was also a broken zipper on the main door but we know how tough that can be to fix and it wasnt an inconvenience. We were most impressed with the showers, WCs and laundry.
