“Good position for walk into town. Reception staff originally had no note of my telephoned special request for rooms. Later, another Receptionist found the note and all was ok. Updated rooms but one still sporting old wallpaper at the back of clothing hanging space. Restaurant in older part of hotel needs an update. All very brown. In general staff are good and our bar snack ( tapas) and coffees etc were very nice. ”

“Good location, grounds and facilities. But for the price and a 5* hotel they were a few niggles such as the bathroom needed some bleach around the shower and sink plug hole ect. For the luxury they're advetising deep cleaning should be an obvious but didnt looked like it had been done. And masses of cobwebs around the doors to get into rooms. ”

“Wonderful, the staff were immediately helpful and relaxed. We were allowed into our room early, got a parking space and it was flawless. The breakfast was perfect, our stay perfect and I would come again. We only had 4 teabags in the room so had to buy some the second day but its hardly a big issue. Amazing hotel, friendly staff and fabulous break...thank you. It was appreciated. ”

“The staff make this hotel fabulous. The lad working in reception was such a great guy and everyone we spoke with was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had, super fresh and tasty. The room was great and the decor was trendy. I would definitely recommend this hotel. 10 mins walk away from the centre but really quiet. When I come back to Chester I will book here. ”
