"We had never been to Jackson Hole before and took a chance on Flat Creek Inn based on Expedia reviews and ratings. In general, those ratings were accurate. The place is a little worn, but not enough to be a factor. We liked that the Inn was a little out of town. The view out the front window was great! The gas station and mini-mart were convenient. The room was pretty typical motel fare. The towels were very good for a motel. The room was clean and had no smell. The TV was a nice size and the cable service was sufficient for our limited use. The shower was great with plenty of hot, soft water. Felt great after a long hike. Unlike many hotels, there was not daily room service unless you asked, which was ok with us. The proximity to the highway did mean a little more noise, but not enough to be concerning. Our unit was next to the middle stairwell so we didn't hear other units except for when the neighbors used their shower. Could really hear that water go on. Parking was a little tight at times when we would bet back to the motel at night. Two very small complaints. The TV, the mini-fridge, and the microwave were all plugged in to a power strip that kept popping and had to be reset. Secondly, the blinds wouldn't close all the way, so we had to improvise a clip to keep them closed for our privacy. We would stay here again."
