Didn’t get to check in until 5 as room wasn’t ready, room was comfortable and staff were lovely. Restaurant was expensive for the quality of the food, should have just had the buffet .

Location is perfect for exploring Death Valley. The hotel history adds to the overall experience as do the amenities and grounds. Lots of different terraces to enjoy a sunrise, sunset or the stars at night. The bed, bedding and room amenities were as expected clean and comfortable with the exception ...

Great place very well kept up! The only thing that was slightly irritating was being asked to strip the beds at the end of our stay. Otherwise this was a fantastic stay.

Saw many burros.... very entertaining
It's kind of in the middle of no where, but it's a good place to stay while visiting Death Valley National Park with reasonable driving distance and price.
Will come next time
There isn't a lot to offer in Amargosa Valley. It was not far from Death Valley NP and other than staying in the park (which was expensive) there isn't much else to choose from. Ash Meadows Natl Wildlife Refuge was very nice & right in Amargosa.
Stunning scenery
Not much around. You either go there to gamble in the casino, or for nearby work. Or, a place to stay after visiting Death Valley.
