Don’t be put off by the overall look outside, it was clean comfortable and great for getting around on trams or buses Friendly and helpful staff. A bar and food a quick walk away, there was a film playing in the square when we were there I would definitely stay there again

Our stay here was amazing! The rooms were clean, had everything you needed, well thought out use of space and spacious for a capsule style hotel. Fun touches of colour! Outside the room, the staff were friendly and helpful, loved that they had internal food options ( breakfast and vending machine ) and an external laundry!

Value for money was good, the place is a bit far from the nearest Tram station, so be ready to walk 15 min. Still, it was nice and a cheap clean place to drop into after a full day out doing touristy stuff.

Once you know what to expect, it is really excellent option for a budget stay if you don’t mind 20-25 min commute to the centre. The modern design and comfy bed helps overcome the size limitations lol!

Great place for its price. Very friendly staff. Tram stop is walking distance away where you can take tram #5 and get to the city centre. Grocery store is 20 mins away. Breakfast for €5 definitely worth it!

El transporte más cercano está lejos, al rededor hay un edificio abandonado. El self-service está vacío y teníamos que pedirle todo a la persona a cargo. The hotel is okay, but some of the facilities are poorly designed. The shower we had bad drainage, and water kept on pooling near the toilet and the sink as well. We could hear people outside the room, especially because there was a large group of teenagers who were staying on our floor. If you need a bed for the night, this place is a good cheap option

I'll go 4 out of 5, no issues with the place. Pros - very quiet area, nice staff, comfy bed, great shower, great value. Cons - very small rooms, very thin walls, luckily my neighbour was quite quiet, not much nearby. Overall thought great value, lovely surroundings, nice fields & walkways nearby but not too much else, so it's great if you want peace & quiet area wise, think was 25 ish mins walk to Metrolink then about 15 mins to Amsterdam Central station on very frequent transport.

En general es agradable la zona, es un área estudiantil. Lo desagradable es lo ruidosa que es la habitación. Las camas están empotradas unas sobre otras con una separación de madera delgada, por lo tanto escuchas todo o que hace tu vecino. Entonces es como si estuvieras en un hostal pero con baño y espacio propio. Portazos hasta las 2 am. Mucho ruido en general, difícil descansar.

I loved my stay at the Diamond Capsule Hotel. It's not really a capsule hotel in the Japanese sense, more a small sleeping area/working area with a magnificent bathroom. Loved the rainfall shower, the bed (best night's sleep I've had for ages), and a great and reasonably priced breakfast. The area is pretty far away from Amsterdam proper but there are trams, or you can easily walk it. Amstelven is a really quiet and safe area.
