This is not your usual style of hotel but its uniqueness is its charm. Great location, on the edge of the Red Light District action, across the square from Central Station & the main Amsterdam transit hub, canal tours, etc. breakfast was good, with a decent selection and the bar attached a great place to chill & chat while watching the world flow by. We will definitely go back to this hotel if we are lucky enough to get to Amsterdam again.

The hotel location is amazing, you can walk anywhere to the most common places. The breakfast was great as well. The cleaning was ok although they did not change the bed sheet daily, but generally it was net and clean. Highly recommended, I would say excellent hotel.

The staff was exceptional! Always cheerful, friendly, very helpful Breakfast was fabulous, many choices and well stocked. Hotel close to transportation and convenient to some attractions . Enjoyable stay! A tiny bit warm in the room. We could have used a couple extra hand towels. We would go back if opportunity arose! Easy wifi connectivity.

We had a wonderful stay. The breakfast was very good with plenty of options to start the day. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore Amsterdam and access public transportation. The accommodation was comfortable, and the staff/host was friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers.

That’s an old building but room is clean and tidy inside. Staffs do house keeping daily to renew towels and they all very friendly. Excellent location which just 5 mins walk from Ams central station. Recommended!

Hotel was recommended by Expedia but was not aligned with our family. Very dated - tired - dusty - moldy smell - should have been expected given historic age of building but could not stay. No fridge / AC and we did not feel safe as a family which probably not warranted. We stayed one of 6 nights here and staff were gracious to let us out of the reservation with only a two night penalty. Good location, great breakfast with super nice staff.

The location was fantastic, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the staff were very nice. The downsides are that there is no air conditioning, and if you get a room facing the street, the noise is substantial. We heard people hooting and hollering well past 2am. But if you are looking for a place that’s in the middle of the action in Amsterdam, this certainly is.

We actually loved everything about this hotel except the fact that the bed & pillow were lumpy. The location was great…close to Central Station & the Cruiseport. The room was clean & quiet. Breakfast was provided & good. The staff was excellent…'even walked our luggage to a taxi stand across the street! Around the corner, many ethnic restaurants.

The hotel is very conveniently located. 5 mins walk from central train station and just minutes from food establishment. Room does not have AC. So it can be a bit warm during the summer months. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a good place to stay when visiting Amsterdam.
