미술관과 매우 가까웠으며 주변동네가암스테르담 중앙역 근처에 비해 매우 조용했습니다. 저는 전반적으로 매우 만족하였습니다. 엘레베이터가 있어서 괜찮았으나, 만약 계단을 이용할 수 밖에 없는 상황일 경우, 계단이 가파르고 좁아서 노인분들은 불편해하실것같습니다.

좋은 위치에 있는 멋진 호텔
일단 위치가 정말 좋습니다. 트램 정거장과 가까워 다른 곳으로 이동하기가 쉽고 뮤지엄 바로 앞에 위치해 있어 뮤지엄 위주로 돌아보실 분들에게는 더할 나위 없이 좋아요. 주변 환경도 좋아요. 유명한 수퍼마켓 체인이 걸어서 5분 정도도 안되는 거리에 있고, 저는 시간이 없어서 못 돌아봤지만 바로 옆이 암스테르담에서 제일 럭셔리한 상점들이 있는 지역이라고 하더라구요. 방은 좁지만 잘 꾸며져 있고 인테리어가 정말 마음에 들었어요. 스탭들도 친절하고 여러 모로 기억에 남는 호텔입니다.

공항에서 한번에 가는 버스가 있었는데 그것도 모르고 고생만 했네요 ㅠㅠ 반고흐 뮤지엄이랑도 가깝고 공항에서 버스 한번에 있고 편했어요~ 다만 방은 작았고 화장실도 작았는데 특히 변기가 벽하고 너무 붙어 있어서 볼일보기 너무너무 힘들었어요 ㅠㅠ 방 작은건 괜찮았는데 변기가 너무 벽에 붙어 있어서 이건 너무 불편했답니다 ㅠㅠ

맥스브라운호텔이용후기
암스테르담 대부분의 호텔이 그렇듯 객실은 아담했음. 청소상태는 청결했으며 인테리어도 신경쓴 흔적들이 많이 보임. 다만 화장실이 상대적으로 작아서 조금 불편했으나 위치가 뮤지엄 근처라서 상당히 편하게 관광할 수 있음. 뮤지엄 근처 관광을 위한 방문객들에게 추천. 데스크 직원들은 매우 친절함. 조식도 나름 괜찮게 준비돼서 만족함

Friendly and accommodating staff and convenient location. Rooms were quirky and cute, a little small but had everything you needed and were very clean. Stairs were super narrow and hard to walk on (classic Dutch stairs) and the elevator was a little scary, but otherwise very lovely.

The place itself is cozy and nice. The staff was quite inexperienced: we asked about where to park our car and they sent us to the most expensive place possible. Also didnt know basic things about where to pay a public parking. Also made quite a few errors while staying, like not taking us into account for breakfast when we had asked them to, etc etc. They were nice but inexperienced. This hotel doesn’t change/clean rooms everyday, just every 2 days, which wasn’t good for us as we had a baby. Also the room walls are too thin and we could hear neighbours at night talking loud. We were trying to rest and keep the baby asleep and it wasn’t easy. The shower water was warm but NOT hot, which also wasn’t nice. The breakfast for 13 euro was great and the location is very walkable to all the museums and everywhere in central Amsterdam.

We do not have a full kitchen in the hotel which makes that we are limited in providing the options on our buffet. Actually unbelievable location. 20seconds from... Van Gogh museum, MOCO, House of Bols, Rijk museum. Vondelpark is 2 minutes away from museums. Directly behind the hotel is the "Rodeo Drive" of asmterdam with every luxury brand imaginable. Which also means that every parling space around has beutiful porches, rolls royces, mercedes. When travelling on a budget it just felt extra special to be staying in such a bougie and clean neighbourhood when counting pennies and using coupons :D Then 1 block behind the rodeo drive, is the best food and bar district called the Leidisplein. Canals and character just oozing from every street and corner bere. Everhthing from Argentinan Steak houses, Romatic italian spots, late night waffles and shakes, and plenty of authentic dutch resteraunts and breakfast. The location is actually sooo good its hard to overstate just how many things are within a 5 minute walk. Staff were so nice, helpful and knowledgable. The location is literally unbeatbale if you want to spens your time at the best museums in Amsterdam. The tram station at museumplein is again, 30seconds from the front door and its a 5-10 minute tram to the Amsterdam Central station on the tram.

The hotel has a nice lobby and was generally in a good condition, and everything was very clean. Only spoke to staff at check in and check out but they were very nice. I had read other reviews that said the rooms were small, and this was true but as a solo traveller the room size itself was absolutely fine. The 1 star loss I would say is for the bathroom because this absolutely is too small. You will always hit your head or your shoulder or your knee on something, with shelves on each side of the bathroom at shoulder height, the door stopper at head height and the sink is immediately in front of the shower. I managed, but the bathroom was noticeably too small and uncomfortable to use. I would also say I am alright at sleeping through noise so wasn't personally bothered too much, but the walls and floors are incredibly thin, so if the sound of voices or footsteps keep you up this could be an issue. Great location, super walkable, nice aesthetically, but just because of the bathroom I either wouldn't stay again or would look at upgrade options.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Elevator was out and they offered drink vouchers for inconvenience which was appreciated. Room was small but fit our needs perfectly. Not super sound proof and could hear noise from hall and other units but surrounding area was quiet and we didn't have issues with the little bits of noise we did hear from other hotel occupants. Hotel staff was always very kind and helpful. Property and room were clean and we enjoyed the decor and atmosphere a lot. Easily walkable to museums, restaurants, and multiple transit options. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Excellent location as a base for exploring Amsterdam on foot. Room was stylish and clean, but very small. Very little storage space, but adequate for short stay. Rather dangerous step in middle of room. Beds also quite narrow, but otherwise comfortable. Bathroom tiny. Very noisy on Saturday night. Could hear speech in room above, and knocking on the next door in the early hours.

I had a great stay here. Very clean and good, walkable and easy access to public transport. Quiet neighborhood. Only downer was the elevator broke on our 3rd day and we were on the 3rd floor. The stairs are typical for the city but made it difficult to get our bags down. Front desk staff were awesome and carried down my friends suitcase. I would stay here again

I absolutely love this hotel, especially for quick trips to Amsterdam. This is my second time staying at this hotel and I’m so happy with my experience. Bed is comfortable, room has everything that you need (love the fan) and the staff is every friendly. Love the breakfast options too, the area around the hotel is perfect as well. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The vibe of this hotel is great! The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but are packed with everything you need. Check-in was easy. The hotel itself is sandwiched between the Rijk Museum and the designer shopping district which makes it a great spot to explore both culture and shopping. It's also not too far from the popular canals and passing through Rijk Museum makes the walk extra beautiful.

Deze accommodatie heeft als grootste troef haar ligging. Het is de ideale uitvalsbasis om Amsterdam te verkennen; zij het te voet of met het openbaar vervoer. We werden hartelijk onthaald door Piet, en ook de andere personeelsleden waren steevast vriendelijk. Het hotel zelf is echter minder goed bevallen. Door omstandigheden zijn wij niet telkens de hele dag uit het hotel, en spenderen we dus soms overdag enkele uren in onze kamer. Maar dat was soms haast onmogelijk omdat het hotel zéér gehorig is. Van zodra de poetsploeg nog maar ergens in het hotel bezig is, is het lawaai niet te verduren: gebonk, stofzuigen, etc. Ook onze nachtrust was niet optimaal, omdat de deuren in de gang van de andere kamers soms heel hard toe slaan. De bedden waren navenant. Hygiënisch was de kamer ‘ok’, maar de badkamer was dan weer verwaarloosd. Nog een pleister in de badkuip, en de vloer heeft ook z’n beste tijd gehad. Mocht dit hotel de moeite doen om enkele zaken te repareren, zou het meteen een heel andere indruk geven (rekje dat loshangt, ventilator half uit plafond). Wij gaan hier niet terugkeren.

Mijn oprechte excuses voor de ongemakken die u tijdens uw verblijf heeft ervaren. Het is absoluut niet prettig dat u zoveel geluidsoverlast ervaren heeft. It was a very cute, clean place, the staff was very nice. The room and bathroom was extremely small and cold, the shower was nearly impossible to use because of how tight the space was.

Cozy and comfortable
An excellent hotel in the museum quarter in Amsterdam. It was a perfect place for a solo 3-night stay as the room was cozy but extremely comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The foyer lounge is relaxing and the breakfast (not included) was good. Plenty of hot water and room temperature can easily be adjusted as you like. A perfect, small boutique hotel for a solo traveller.
