Fantastic hotel, clean, great use of space, all the ambience and amenities, terrific staff. Right across the street from Rijksmuseum but very quiet. Excellent location. We loved this hotel. Good value for the price - Amsterdam is expensive - and we will definitely stay here again next time we travel to Amsterdam.

The room was very clean but very very small. It was very quiet and in a wonderful location for museums , parks shops and restaurants. Very entertaining and safe. Also close to transportation.

Great location — close to everything and right next to a tram stop, which made getting around Amsterdam really easy. It’s also close to the museums, around a 10-minute walk into the main shopping area, and close to the park. The room was nice, modern and very clean, although it was quite small — but we expected that. Our windows looked into the hallway, so we just kept the curtains closed, which wasn’t really an issue for us. Overall, though, it was a perfect base for exploring Amsterdam and I’d definitely stay again.

We loved our 1 night stay at The Fitz. It was very close to everything we had planned for the day. The staff (thank you Laura)was exceptionally helpful, pulling out a city map, directing us to tram stops, pointing out interesting areas to visit & orienting us to city directions. We had a little snafu & she handle it with confidence good humour. We will definitely stay again on our next trip.

An excellent hotel with a fantastic location; it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was only one downside: the inability to open the windows and air out the room. The room has air conditioning, which unfortunately is not a ventilation system.

Clean room, helpful staff, amazing location. The stairs to rooms are extremely narrow and curved and the lift was broken so it's important to ask if they fixed it if you have mobility issues. Extremely small room, but had everything we needed. Very comfortable bed, and really strong shower.

Very good location. Such an easy walking city, and we found The Fritz to be central. Close to lots of great restaurants and the cafe in the Gallery next door was very convenient and tasty. Thanks for a great stay.
