We brought pizza with us that needed to be microwaved but the microwave didn’t work.
The microwave also looked like it had been pried open at one point. We called the front desk and the woman up front acted very annoyed that there was issues with the microwave. She sent up the maintenance guy who seemed to live in the hotel. He was kind.
After the microwave situation, I did a walk through of the room and noticed that other than the room not being vacuumed, the phone cord had hair wrapped in it, a cab drive receipt, a bottle cap, and small trash was on the floor. The chair was worn down and there was no outlet cover one one outlet.
We overlooked the bad for the pool amenity. I called the hotel prior to booking to confirm that the pool was open and the front desk woman said yes. We got in the pool and the water was FREEZING cold. Like dangerously cold. My daughters lips turned dark blue!
I walked to the front desk woman and told her about it and she basically said she didn't care. I got upset with her that she told me over the phone that the pool was open and she said, “yes the pool is open. You didn't ask if it was warm”. We ended up leaving shortly after that. We did not stay the night. The pool amenity needs to be removed from the amenities here. I wanted to leave this review earlier but I believe that had I done that, they would've charged my debit card for something I did not do. This place is shady!
