Staff were great. Room lacking - no solid curtains to block light. In Alaska even winter nights can be bright. It was snowing a lot outside. Snow reflects light with parking lot lights. Hard to sleep. In the summer, with increased daylight - I would never stay there. Window covering - semi opaque sheers with tiny solid curtains as side accent, unable to move and could never cover the window.

We often stay at Wyndham hotels always been very nice! This was a last minute booking and the worst ever hotel! We flew in late to go home. Arrived about 2 am. We were very tired after several flight delays so we went straight to the room and fell asleep. Upon waking up we discovered mold and mildew on the walls and that the room was not very clean to say the least. We would of left as soon as we woke up but our friends were on the way to pick us up at specific time. I went down and asked for the manager and showed her photos. She seemed nice and apologized but only took notes and said someone would be in touch. I would like a refund! we don't mind older places BUT a place should be clean and not mildew 1/4 way up the walls & around the air conditioner. We were on the bottom floor , after opening the curtain the window was not locked and you could see marks on the outside where is looked like it was slid open at some point. It was not a pleasant site. Spreading mildew was also all way around the air conditioner. There were 2 beds , the 2 second bed had several stains on top of it. We didn't pull back the covers because I had already seen enough, i didn't want that possible vision also. Water stains on the ceiling, bathroom floor needed a mopping, and carpet needed a better vacuum, left over hair on the tub drain.. I don't think the maids did a good job and I think this room and possibly others should not be rented out until it gets an updated inspection cleaning

Unlocked window found out next morning , looks to have been slid open from outside at some point.

Stains on 2nd bed, mold /mildew on far wall and around air conditioner

The microwave in our room was broken and the front desk said they’d replace it but never did. Some of the AK misplaced refugees are there so if you plan to use the pool, it may be a lil crowded, not that I cared about the pool though, just a lil noisy. The fire alarm went off around 9pm, for over 2-3 min due to a low battery and then went off again several more times for a few seconds. Loud & annoying. Room had a funny smell when we checked in, and parking gets bad if you don’t park early. There is ample parking way in the back lot but I would not trust leaving our vehicle that far away, not in that Spenard area. Otherwise the staff at desk were nice and the breakfast was okay.

The room was clearly not cleaned. There were toe nails on the floor and other debris on the floor all over. A booger on the bedsheet. We asked to be moved to a clean room. The second room had old skittles on the floor and dark hairs all over the bed. Again - obviously was not cleaned. We decided to stay somewhere else. Will be requesting a refund tomorrow as the front desk attendant said she could not cancel the stay or refund me.

The staff was really friendly, they just couldn't keep up with the hotel being used as an evacuee lodging. Not enough towels, one vacuum cleaner, no room cleaning when requested 2 days in a row. The accessible room is not accessible. Bathroom had room but hallway into bathroom was same size as normal room making hard to get into bathroom with wheelchair. And then you add a mirror right outside the bathroom door. There is no for the handicapp person to reach any of the soaps and shampoo. They weren't accessible level. Teh showerhead was place at normal height so no reaching that either while the seat is why in the back and the water didn't reach.

Sheets werent changed. Mold on the windows. Person prepping the food was throwing up. Staff was at least friendly.

Maintenance had to come to our room twice because the shower and microwave were broken. No hot water on the first day. Scheduled housekeeping services and they skipped us two days in a row. They were completely out of towels, so we had to take turns showering. Pool was frigid and could not be used. Asked for a partial refund through Expedia and they said no.

Staff was pleasant enough, however this hotel is dated carpet did not seem very clean in my room. I found strands of hair on the shower walls and it was quite noisy with people walking above and people walking through the hall.

Counter tops, bathroom and bath tub was dirty. Waited 20 minutes to check in while front desk was in the back on her personal phone, she was super rude and we felt like we were an inconvenience that she had to do her job, they were very limited on towels. Pool was super cold

Very disappointing experience. There was no running water until the next day, so I couldn’t shower. Customer service was extremely poor, I was put on hold for about 30 minutes, and it took a long time just to reach someone for the hotel shuttle. Overall, a very bad experience.

Heat not working, dealt with 57-62 degrees. Complained and was told to send an email. Non stop screaming and fighting throughout the nights, counter wasn’t cleaned off. Horrible experience.

Airport shuttle didn’t show up this morning and the hotel didn’t have ANY water in the rooms. I called down to ask and told me at 7am it would be fixed. I checked in at 1am and there was no water then I should have been informed of the lack of water. Worst hotel ever

No one answers phone or you are put on an endless hold. Couldn’t get through to get a shuttle and when i finally did after 1/2 hour, i waited 45 minutes for a shuttle.

I checked in around midnight froma flight in Anchorage so I went straifht to bed. I noricwd some alarming things the following morning. The bathroom was not clean. There was hair in the bathtub. Urine stains on the toliet rim. The bathroom floor srill had food smears near the trash can. The ceiling in the bathroom had mold. Look out the window and there was a large container parked there. I immediately called the front desk early that morning. I was told that i could possibly change rooms once a room became available. I called many times getting the excuse that housekeeping came in late that I would get a call. I left for breakfast, nothing. I came back and stopped off at the front desk, the same excuse. I left for lunch and stayed out as long as possible and returned back stopping off at the front desk. They never cleaned the room I was in and had no other room to trade out. 4 pm comes around and the same answer, housekeeping came in late today and we have no update. Unlikely to be true. The front desk began telling me that she never assigned me that room so it wasn't her fault. I had had enough. I packed up my things and left the hotel to get another cleaner and rspectful place to stay. It was disguisting, not even the courtesy having housekeeping to clean the existing room. I would NEVER stay at a Wyndham location again!!

The room was only half clean. The floors were gross, there was half eaten food in the frig and the drinking cups were open. The lobby was dirty and the front desk person was very unfriendly. You could've pay me to stay here again.

The key cards did not work on all the door necessitating a long walk around the building in the snow. The person won checked me in didn't tell me about breakfast hours. There were not enough towels in the room and the bar for the towel rack was missing. The place was very noisy with other guests running up and down the hall fighting with each other and banging on doors. Only one person behind the desk at check out with 6 people in line. Next time I will go some where else
