Negatives: • The power kept going out repeatedly during our stay. • On the day of checkout, the power was completely out, and we had to pack our belongings in the dark using our cell phone flashlights. • There was a fuse box inside the room, which made it seem like power issues may be a recurring problem. Even resetting the fuse box did not restore the electricity. • Staff told us an electrician would not come until the afternoon, but we were checking out that day. • They did not have another room available to move us to. • There was no comforter or duvet—only a single bedsheet, which was rough and uncomfortable against the skin. • The room did not have a proper window. There was only a tiny opening in the wall that provided a little light and no real view or ventilation. • A curtain was placed over the opening, giving the impression that there was a normal window behind it. • The bed was extremely uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. • Overall, the room lacked basic comfort, especially considering the power problems. Positives: • The location was very convenient. • The staff were polite and pleasant.

The staff are very kind and helpful, and the location is excellent. Unfortunately, those were the only real positives for us. The room was extremely small and looked very different from what the photos led us to expect. The most disappointing part was the “window.” A curtain gives the impression that there is a normal window behind it, but when you open the curtain, there is only a tiny box-like opening cut into the wall. There is no view and barely any natural light or fresh air. I found the photos very misleading in this regard. The bed was also very uncomfortable. There was no proper comforter or duvet, just a rough sheet that did not feel comfortable against the skin. We also experienced constant power outages, and whenever the electricity came back, the air conditioning did not immediately start working again. This made the room especially uncomfortable. For the price we paid, I expected a much more comfortable room and, most importantly, a room that accurately matched the photos and description. The staff was nice, and the location is very convenient. However, based on the room itself, the misleading presentation, lack of a real window, uncomfortable bedding, and repeated power issues, I would not choose to stay here.

This little boutique hotel is in an incredible location. The staff were the friendliest we meet in Turkey and made us feel most welcome and everything was expectly as advertised or better

Beautiful little marvel of a hotel in the Old Town

Absolutely fabulous place with lovely staff, great breakfast, perfect Old Town location and an impressive attention to detail. The only downside unfortunately is the loud music from the next door bar/club, so bring earplugs if you like a full night sleep.

Super cute hotel, tiny rooms, but unfortunately we got a room under the stairs, and you can basically hear everyone walking around in the hotel. Location is great tho! Use earplugs when staying and it should be fine.

Great location, lovely staff

Boutique hotel with helpful friendly staff. Some lovely touches such as bath robes provided and a fresh fruit plate in the room each day. Let down by the lack of cleaning, as our room was not cleaned for the 3 nights we stayed so no clean towels etc. Also bins not emptied which given they request you not to flush loo paper was frankly a bit gross. As the staff were so welcoming no doubt if we had raised it they may well have resolved it but a basic requirement such as cleaning should not, in my opinion, be something that you need to ask for, it should just happen. The other issue, whilst not the fault of the hotel, is that there are two clubs/pubs immediately adjacent that blast out heavy metal music until the early hours. Making any attempt at a decent nights sleep almost impossible. It worked for us as a stop over prior to continuing on to other locations but would definitely not want to stay longer than the three nights we had. That said it is in a great location with easy walk to the restaurants, bars and sightseeing options and the lovely staff almost made up for the lack of sleep and cleaning.

The most noisy hotel experience of my life

Had to cancel my booking and leave. This tiny, cramped hotel is situated next to a live rock venue and other nightclubs and has no soundproofing whatsoever, not even double glazing (which they didn't have planning permission to fit). The timber-framed window in my room did not even close properly so I was forced to listen to deafening live rock music until the early hours of the morning every night. The rooms on the ground floor open out into the combined reception & breakfast area, offering zero space and privacy from the hustle-bustle of the main entrance, reception and breakfast area. Any sound you make from a ground floor room will be heard clearly by the breakfast room diners and vice versa. Very pleasant and helpful staff but I would not stay here again.

Kaldığımız “Rose” odada çok ağır bir koku vardı. Banyo duş alınmayacak kadar küçüktü, duşakabinin kapısını kapatmadan duş almak zorunda kaldım. Havalandırma olmaması da koku için bir etken kanımca. Ancak en büyük ve önemli olumsuz nokta ise gürültü. Yanında yer alan bar(lar)dan gece 2 hatta bazen de gece 3’e kadar inanılmaz yüksek ses ile çalınan müzik sebebiyle müzik bitene kadar uyumanın imkanı yok. Otelde herkesin güleryüzlü olması, kahvaltının güzel olması söyleyebileceğim pozitif noktalar.

En nedtur. Vi forventet litt mer. Hotellet var veldig lite, nesten som om vi var i et dukkehus. Koselig betjening, grei frokost. Hotellet lå i en liten bakgate ved siden av en nattklubb, så støynivået var ekstremt, pluss et par haner som skrek og kaklet utenfor tidlig på morgenen. LED lysene over sengen hang og slang med ledningene stikkende ut av veggen. Den ene virket ikke heller. Badet var knøtt lite men funket greit, utenom at det var en kakerlak der. Vi hadde bestilt 2 netter men vi var bare 1.
