This leaves me thinking what's wrong with the place? There is no proper entrance. It is more of a going through a restaurant to get to the rooms. Room was spacious and was clean. Bathroom was alright. The photos were nicer"

"Love how clean the room is . And the comfort of the bed."
"Located in the enter of old Taichung city close to the main train station. Good restaurants and confectioneries are within walking distance. Room is spacious, and the king bed is way bigger than its counterpart you see in America. "
"We really enjoyed our stay at The Splendor and would stay again. The hotel is in a great location, close to shopping and restaurants. It's also a short walk to the botanical gardens. Our room was very clean. It's an older hotel so a bit shabby in places. Scuff marks on the walls for example. Also the beds are very hard, but I was told this is typical in that area. Overall a lovely stay though."
