โEverybody there was so kind the only two bad thing was dust on curtain rail and previous guys body hair in the bath room. But those are nothing my wife and I love this place so much and I am pretty sure we will stay again โ
โEnjoyed a 2 nite stay here while attending CATF theatre festival in Shepherdstown. Enjoyed the outdoor hottub after biking on C&O Canal towpath, and fantastic country breakfasts. Views to the west over Antietam battlefields are spectacular! Hosts couldnโt have been more welcoming, including the talking parrot! โ
โVery quiet. Free shuttle to casino ran frequently. Very limited free breakfast- no hot food. Bagels, muffins, hard boiled eggs, cereal, fruit and yogurt. But thatโs enough to fill you up. Would stay again if we were in that area. โ
โIt was a great experience and weekend. We liked it because it was close to the casino. And it was 9 miles away from my husband's cousin who we got to visit while we were there.โ
โWas exactly what I needed for a solo bday trip to the area. Minimal, friendly, clean. Didnโt mind that itโs obvious the place has been there a while. The parking lot has a huge pothole, which isnโt great. Just drive around it and be grateful for the great price and nature at your doorstep.โ
