โWe thought we'd booked a hotel and were pleasantly surprised to find it a B&B.
It's close to the highway but not in town and we were tired so we took advantage of the offer for an evening meal. The meal was what I have been expecting since I got to France. It was the best meal I've had in France. I can't wait for breakfast.
The place is run by a nice, hard working, young couple who do a great job of making you feel welcome and comfortable. โ
โExcellent accueil, ascenseur, chambre double supรฉrieure trรจs correcte mรชme si pas trรจs grande. Pas de tables de nuit car il y a une niche en longueur ร l'arriรจre du lit. Salle de bain propre et fonctionnelle. Se ferme par une porte coulissante, ce qui est pratique car silencieuse la nuit. Douche sombre mais trรจs fonctionnelle. Grand รฉcran TV. Grand lit Queen Size. Nous avons rarement aussi bien dormi ร l'hรดtel. Et hors saison, le parking รฉtait gratuit le dimanche donc entrรฉs le samedi et sortis...
โWhat an amazing location. It seems a little out of place in the surrounding area but it is like an oasis in the desert. Located actually on the river, the hotel is a converted mill house full of period charm and character. The rooms were comfortable, with a few quirks, but very spacious and some have beautiful views. The swimming pool was a boon in the very hot weather. The two young ladies looking after us were a delight - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was good. It's a little out of...
