Very convenient location & great skistar services at the hotel. Delicious pizzas & fun bowling. Spacious rooms and large breakfast room suitable for families and groups. Beautiful fireplace in the lobby. We enjoyed our stay!

Great gateway in a beautiful place

Big complex with a lot of commodities. I read previous comments and was afraid that I will not enjoy the place. I booked an entire week to have a vacation with my mom. However, we had everything we needed and were not bothered by slightly aged curtains and other not important stuff. Location is perfect to go to the city and for various hikes, breakfast is good and stuff is friendly. The view from our room was amazing although it was facing the parking lot. We used the pool area a couple of times and were also satisfied even though some parts were not working. Overall, I would recommend the place and will come back again.

This is a great ski and adventure hotel. It’s clean, big rooms, quiet despite its its size and gorgeous setting next to åre lake. Even the basic rooms are bigger than your average hotel in rest of Europe. I have been coming to this hotel with my 2 daughters ( now 13 and 15) for skiing and it is always a good option. It’s not ski in& ski out, lifts are either a 10 mins walk or ski buss right outside. Perfect for us tjough

Relaxing environment, my room had a beautiful view over the lake to sit at the balcony and see the sunset. However, they didn't clean the room over my 3-day visit, so it got quickly dirty from daily activities. It would have been good if the hotel provided some simpler utility to sweep the floor.

Room was very warm and blackout curtains did not do their jobs properly : it seems the hotel is optimized for winter sports. Sauna was closed and usage of the pools - which is the reason we booked - were an extra SEK 250 per person. That should have been clearly indicated on the reservation page.

Poor parking

Parking at the hotel area and Åre town is sh.. not good. This is just what happens when all the might is handed over to one private company. Aimo Park in this case. Hotel customers who have allready paid their visit must pay for parking. If car is moved 100m to other parking spot on a different area agian a new fee must be paid to same company. If car is parked 1m off a spot (thats under snow) there will be a fine waiting for you. Probably will choose othet hotel next time for above mentioned reasons.

Sentralt og enkelt med små barn 🙂 Desverre ikke inkludert bading i prisen (!) og bassenglokalet var iskaldt. 750kr for en familie på 4 pr dag med bading. Ble desverre for dyrt for oss å bade hver dag. Kjempebra frokost, beliggenhet. Synes resturanten Eatery hadde god pizza og greie priser. LAB kids er superbra og rimelig. Mulighet for 2tbarnepass for 100kr pr barn.

Utmärkta sängar och sängkläder! Det som skulle kunna förbättras är att kakelskarvarna skulle behöva rengöras. Det är dock en detalj. I det hela är vi mycket nöjda. Hundrum levde inte upp till hotellets standard

Personalen i receptionen tog emot oss på ett mycket trevligt sätt. Vi hade bokat hundrum, vilket tyvärr hade missats, men det löstes snabbt och vi blev dessutom uppgraderade – något vi verkligen uppskattade. Tyvärr levde inte rummet upp till förväntningarna. Duschen var smutsig, det saknades schampo och balsam, och toaletten var både svårspolad och gav ett slitet intryck. Däremot var utsikten fantastisk, vilket blev ett stort plus i upplevelsen.
