"Common areas of hotel were stunning and beautiful however the Vanderbilt wing rooms were older and not up to par, the hallway carpets were soiled and unattractive. So overall the resort common area was beautiful but rooms were very disappointing."

Nothing like walking into a shop and asking for a sampler of their favorite smokey delights, then walking out later with a selection of 4 , including tasso, several sausages and some rib bones and a pig knuckle for the dogs. PJ has an amazing business that I would definitely put on my 100 mile gottagoto radar. #gottagoto.

This photo was taken from the window of a room in the Biltmore Village Hotel. The hotel and staff were fantastic and the estate grounds are beautiful. The grounds are huge so make sure you give yourself at least four days if you want to see them all. All the restaurants on the estate are "farm to table" and the winery offers free tastings. #BvSApplication
