This was the worst hotel/motel I have ever stayed in. I left after 1 night even though I had to prepay for all 3 nights. I felt so unsafe that I put furniture against the door as the door did not lock. The staff are the most misogynistic men I have ever come across who told me I should be more polite as a women after they frauded my credit card. This place should be shut down.

They had Bed Bugs, the door to the room was broke we had to push it closed and hold it to lock the door.

No problem with check in. Sink plugged, fortunately they had a plunger I could use to unplug!! Room clean but dated. “Breakfast “-coffee, juice, granola bar. Ok for a passing through stay but should be less expensive for what you get.

overall worst experience i ever had. ever. it took 30 minutes simply just to check in because the front desk lady could not function i would not recommend this place even just to save a few dollars smell in the room was terrible

Even with reserving and paying online, check-in seemed to take forever. This hotel is VERY old and dated. The beds were very stiff and not comfortable at all. It was about 20 degrees outside and we walked into a room that had the ac blowing and set to 61 degrees. The included breakfast was only granola bars and juices. We passed. OK, if you just need a roof, but don't expect anything nice. Had we known what we were walking into, I would have gladly paid an extra $30 to stay down the road. I'm laughing at the photo of the room they have next to this box I am typing in. Our room looked NOTHING like this! Aside from the flat screen TV, I don't think anything was updated in the last 20 years.

Not worth even half the price
The room smelled, the floor didn’t have carpeting, the bed was like a rock, the ac/heater wall unit sounded like a train, and the free breakfast consisted of coffee, some kind of orange drink mix (not juice), and granola bars

Front desk clerk was awesome! Very personable. Facility is dated. Rooms had odors. Very noisy. Bed was very uncomfortable & toilet was lowest to the ground that I've ever used.

There were 7 cigarette burn holes in my blanket. The dresser drawer was broke. There were cigarette burns on the bathroom floor, and edge of tub. Exhaust fan in bathroom was just a hole in the wall. I would expect that from a $65 per night room, but this was $106. Place is a sh*thole.

It is what it is
This is an old property that is in need of a major refurbishment, but I knew that going in. For the rate I paid, I wasn't too upset. The biggest irk was the key had to be reset multiple times by the front desk. If you are desperate for a place to crash or cash-strapped, this will do.

Do not stay here
The furniture was all broken in room. Cigarette burns all over floor and tub. Toilet wouldnt flush. Bed was on just a frame. Very very dirty. We wouldnt even stay there even though we had paid. The gentleman who checked us in basically told me straight out not to bother to complain. So we just left and slept in our car half way home.

They kept 2 nights payments & I didn't stay a min.
I booked this hôtel for 2 nights and the room they gave me the smelled very bad. Cigarette odor mixed with something else. I was with my 10 year old boy and his first reaction when he got in the room too was dad this room smells bad so we walked back out, I booked another hotel & i asked them to check me out. I explained to the receptionist why. They promised to reimburse me but they didn't. They kept 2 nights payments even though I didn't spend 30 minutes in the room.

This hotel is shabby and dirty. Our TV did not work and our toilet did not work. There was poop in the toilet that would not go down. the maintenance man could not fix it. I went out for the evening and when I returned to the room the toilet was flushing but leaking water all over the floor.

the room was very old and in desperate need of updates and fixes. A/C units drip down onto the lower level outside, grout missing, caulk missing in bathrooms and the existing caulk & grout haven't been deep cleaned in years. The bed was like sleeping on a board, the pillows were awful, and we weren't comfortable even getting under the sheets. This was not a good representative of Wyndham properties!

This place is a notch above a homeless encampment, but for electricity, hot water, TV and a door. This place is filthy, worn out, smelly, full of flies (indoor), sticky table tops, dirty wooden floor with stain, no carpet, and greasy furnitures. We are surprised that Travelocity would have this trash dump on their list, and Wyndham would put their name behind it.

Our stay in Athens Ohio was Sunday night July 23. The staff was pleasant enough, the surrounding area was okay. There was a nursery on one side and a car repair place on the other. Our room was clean enough, it was aged, but was clean. There were two factors that resulted in the worst nights rest for us in a long time. One was the condition of the mattress, it was dreadfully concave, you move toward the center as you slept. The other was the noise from the air conditioner. It cycled on and off with a considerable bang every few minutes. These two factors greatly reduced our sleep. At one point my wife attempted to sleep in the van. It was an awful night. It wasn't the people it was the facility.
