Very Outdated Hotel

There is no way this property is an 8.6. People must be getting confused with the Theoxenia Palace property across the street. This hotel is very dated, it was a beautiful building back in the day but that day was 20 years ago. There are no services in the building but you can go across the street to the nice hotel for pool, restaurant, spa which is insanely inconvenient. The neighborhood and location is great.

I am definitely staying there again, quite, proximity to everything, spacious and the mattress to sleep and wake up rested.

The hotel has been my preference when visiting family for years. Now it’s extremely run down and tired. Plumbing is terrible, leaks everywhere, showers not working and in addition the mattresses are sagging, pillows old and too soft. There is no kettle or coffee facilities in the room, no complimentary water and staff are rude. Overall this is not going to be my preference next year. There are better and friendlier properties in Kifisia. This beautiful property needs a great deal of TLC.

Δεν διατίθενται στις εγκαταστάσεις του πισίνα ή σπα αλλά σε άλλης διεύθυνσης ιδιων συμφερόντων ξενοδοχείο που για να πας θα βγεις εκτος του theoxenia house. Ο χώρος χρειάζεται φροντίδα.

Gute Option fuer einen kurzen Stopover

Wie auch andere schon berichtet haben - kein Kaffee im Zimmer. Die Erklärung an der Rezeption: "Due to COVID it is not allowed to provide such an option any longer in Hotel rooms!": Ich war noch in 2 weiteren Hotels auf dem Trip - in beiden gab es eine Kaffeemachine auf dem ZImmer. Bzgl. der Aussage auf Ihrer Website und Werbung ueberall im Hotel, dass es Sat-Fernsehen, Premium Channels und FREE NETFLIX gäbe ... na ja ... dream on. Die Sat-Box war schon auf dem Zimmer, stand auf einem DVD-Player - mit schön laminierter Anweisung. Aber die Box war weder mit dem Stromnetz noch mit dem Fernseher verbunden. Auf Anfrage kam die Antwort "Funktioniert nicht!". NETFLIX usw. sollte via DVD-Player und dessen Internetverbindung funktionieren. Ohne eigenen Account geht aber nichts. Rezeption: "Nein, alles frei verfuegbar!" - Ich zeigte dem Herren die entsprechende Website von NETFLIX, wo man sich anmelden und die "Pakete" auswählen konnte ... er rief mal eben einen Kollegen an: "Ja, kostet.". Bitte aktualisieren Sie ihre Website: Es stand mir eine grosse Anzahl lokaler Sender zur Verfuegung + BBC News und TV5. Bett war ok. Zimmer war gross - aber keine "50m2 Suite", wie angekuendigt. Insgesamt Alles sauber - aber doch etwas "gealtert." Das Sofa war sicher mal toll - ich habe mich nicht getraut darauf zu setzen - die Farbe sah so aus, als wäre das keine gute Idee. Fruehstueck (im Hauptgebäude, 5 Minuten zu Fuss) war ok. Service freundlich. Gute Lärmdämmung (Balkon zur Hauptstrasse hin).

I had never been to Kifisia before and I very much enjoyed walking around the neighbourhood and the great selection of shopping, restaurant choices, bars and services. There are so many beautiful large homes in the wooded upscale neighbourhood around the hotel. The lower suite I stayed in was massive at 100 sq metres, with a massive bathroom, full queen bed and a cot, perfect for a family of 3 travelling and more than I needed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very rich as well with a massive soaker tub fit for 2 people. Staff was excellent and the included breakfast in the larger Theoxenia Palace hotel was appreciated with lots of choices and great coffee options. I'm very pleased that I picked Theoxenia House Hotel for my first nights stay in Greece to see this unique area.

Piscines situées dans l'autre annexe de l'hôtel, tout comme le restaurant. 25€ par personne pour accéder à la piscine intérieure, je n'ai jamais vu ça ! Accès refusé au jacuzzi soit disant pour cause de covid mais le sauna et le hammam étaient autorisés. Quelle logique ! De plus, l'état de la chambre laissait à désirer que ce soit au niveau de la propreté ou des finitions (lampe décrochée, plusieurs ampoules grillées, table rayée...). Le personnel était en partie aimable pour certain mais pour d'autres, la froideur était présente. Je ne vois pas en quoi cet hôtel mérite toutes ses étoiles.

Μεγάλα κ ήσυχα δωμάτια στο κέντρο της Κηφισιάς

Τα δωμάτια είναι πολύ μεγάλα (σουίτες). Το κυρίως ξενοδοχείο όπου προσφέρεται το πρωινό είναι στα 200μ με τα πόδια το οποίο είναι οκ με κανονικό καιρό, αλλά ενοχλητικό ίσως εάν βρέχει. Καλό θα ήταν να υπήρχε ένας βραστήρας για καφέ/τσάι

WE had the semi basement room at the house , it was huge, spotlessly clean What wasn't clear to us is the pool is actually at the palace not the house , only 1 min walk away but just not really clear . There is no tea/coffee facilities and no complementary water which was unusual and a shame . The House just seemed a bit soul less , some music playing in reception would maybe help . The receptionist were perfectly polite and helpful

Wonderful staff, nice location (if you want/need to be in Kifisia) near shopping and restaurants, very nice breakfast and pool. It is an old nice building with high ceilings, it needs a touch of renovations- I think rooms could use some fresh painting and carpets in common areas need replacement. I also wish they had coffee /tea makers in all rooms, seem basic for a nice hotel. Overall a good choice!

Very good hotel

Very good hotel, nice location. The only problem is that breakfast is served in another building, so one has to walk outside (not much though, just 2-3 mins).

Comfortable and Great Staff

Had a brilliant stay with Theoxenia House Hotel. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It's in a lovely neighborhood and the staff were incredibly friendly. The facilities (bar, restaurant, breakfast and pool) are a 2 minute walk away at another building but I still found that it was very convenient.
