The property is in a nice quiet area. Clean. The pool was great. Paid for shuttle service to airport. Very nice. There was a free shuttle service to one of the restaurants. Food was good. Lots of it. It was a great experience.

We had a great stay at Villa d'Irene on our last night in Greece. George picked us up and drove us back to the airport (for a fee) and was super helpful and accommodating. They are used to people just staying for a short time between flights, and he had great recommendations for the neighborhood. Our kids loved spending the morning playing at the pool before we headed to the airport to catch our flight.

This was the perfect place to stay our last night, being close to the airport but also the beach. George was so helpful in every way! Easy to communicate and set up airport pickup and drop off with him, rather than going through the hassle of figuring it out another way. And he set us up with a great restaurant nearby that even offered a free shuttle pickup, while we enjoyed a pleasant walk back along the beach. It was nice to have a more local Greek experience after the touristy Athens and Milos time. We loved the view from the balcony and our room was very spacious. Grateful they opened their home for travelers like us so we could stay in a authentic, safe neighborhood rather than a generic hotel.

George our Host was pleasant and extremely helpful. He welcomed us into his family home that was in a local neighbourhood that felt safe. He went above and beyond from picking us up at the ferry in Rafina to dropping us off at the airport the next day. Our double bed was comfortable and clean.

Our stay at Villa D’Irene was wonderful. My husband and I stayed 2 nights. The host, George, was a pleasure to deal with - friendly, helpful, great communication. He arranged a transfer from and to the airport for us and gave us great suggestions for places to visit and eat nearby. The room was super clean, spacious and comfortable with views to the sea and mountain, and within walking distance to beach, restaurants, grocery store, and the best bakery ever! We wished we could stay longer to try all the delicious looking cakes and pastries. The onsite pool was lovely and great to cool off in after our long flight to Athens. The proximity to the airport is great, very handy if you’re in between flights. The area is like a traditional Greek village and the main strip and beach filled with locals, rather than tourists. Wonderful beach front eateries and beach with great food and comfy sunbeds close by. Highly recommend a stay at Villa D’Irene and we would definately return for a longer stay next time.

We only stayed 13 hours. Our last stop before heading to a very early morning flight home. The place is homie with beautiful views. We felt well rested and had been able to relax. It was to cold to swimm but the pool is huge with a very pretty area to lounge.
