โProbably the cleanest room Iโve stayed in.great view over the beach and sea front.The only negative would be the lighting in the en-suite it could have been brighterโ

โAt check in we were greeted and walked to our room. We were a little early for our reservation and we were allowed right in. Owner showed us around and was incredibly friendly. Other visitors told us some great hiking locations to check out. Continental breakfast laid out nicely. Beautiful view of Mourne Mountains. โ
โA truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! โ
โProperty was lovely. Beautifull location . The host gave us some ideas of places to visit, the opportunity to visit some child friendly locations and saw beautiful scenery.

โWe had a truly fantastic stay at the Mourne Country House B&B. A lovely family run place. Gareth was very attentive and helpful and offered a lovely breakfast, and the place is absolutely pristinely clean. Great jump off point to the Mourne mountains. I really enjoyed being here and would highly recommend! โ
โStaff were excellent and couldnโt do enough for you, good menu could include maybe a bit more Healthier choose vegs , fish etc of selection but overall good โ

โMyself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted.
Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again.โ
โIt was such a peaceful stay. The staff were really helpful. Our room was great, really spacious and the bed was comfy. We sat in the lounge and it was so relaxing watching the birds..such a wonderful place.โ
โMain standout quality of this hotel is itโs location. Beautiful views of The Mournes and very well maintained gardens. Also ample car parking space. If you want a quiet place to escape then this is it. Very attentive staff and excellent food. We did get the impression that one of the male staff was overworked- it seemed that he was absolutely doing everything, but must stress that he was an excellent โpeople personโ and that nothing was a bother to him.
