Room was clean but saw a cockroach in the kitchen. The hotel is nice overall but the reception area was hot, small and at the same counter as with the cafe. Staff was very nice and friendly.

I’d like to sincerely thank the team at Swiss-BelSuites Victoria Park for their understanding and care during my stay. Due to a personal matter, I had to leave in the middle of the night and wasn’t able to check out in person. The team was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating, which I really appreciated during a stressful time. This was a great location next to Victoria Park and downtown Auckland and great family friendly property. We loved the balcony and full kitchen as well as in room laundry. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it!

The room had the amenities we were looking forward to however, the furnishings were worn out. For example the sofa was threadbare, cushions were worn out and the legs were missing. The area rug was worn out, and the room needed to be repainted. However, the bedroom was suitable and the overall space was more than adequate. We used the washer /dryer and it worked perfectly.Five years ago I would have given it full marks but now it’s really tired.

The room was very nice, but we had some issues with parking. Contrary to the welcome message, we could not reserve parking in advance. However, when we arrived, they asked if we had a reservation (???), but they couldn't accommodate our vehicle since they were already full (we arrived at 2pm). Fortunately, there were a couple spots left in the attached Wilson Car Park. It is possible to park there multiple days if you use the app.
