This hotel was BEAUTIFUL. The people were also especially kind and accommodating. The restaurant was top notch and the breakfast buffet was great. This was the best cappuccino we had on our 2 week trip! I can't not say enough about this hotel. It was wonderful!

Short stay

This is a popular restaurant with rooms rather than a hotel. It’s quite far from Augsburg central but everywhere is easy to walk or accessible by road and public transport. Mattresses weren’t great, room (205) was very warm even in October with the window open. Staff pleasant and can get by with our broken German and their broken English. Food in the restaurant - paid extra for lunch - was lovely. Inclusive breakfast was basic but good way to start the day.

My GLADIATOR Hotel stay

1 appearance on arrival was amazing 2 use of the room facilities was disappointing because several of the ceiling light bulbs were missing or not working. 3 The bed frame was not secure and had loose joints but the mattress was ok. 4 bathroom was impressive but lacked a safety feel. The shower did not have all its outlets working and looked very dated. There were no grab handles to aid the climbing in and out of the cubicle as there was a high step in and being elderly leg stability is not good. 5 breakfast was very disappointing as it finished at 9.00 as we expected it to finish at 10.00 all other hotels we stayed in did finish at 10.00. They did not provide any cereals for breakfast only meats coffee. What a shame it looked after appealing when we arrived. It needs some serious Maintenance to the facilities. I will say it did have a fantastic ceiling in our bedroom.

Viva Villa

This was an unbelievable villa in a lovely setting. Car parking was easy. Checking easy however our accommodation was in the worst room to get to, having to climb 2 stories of steps and settle in a room that had the beams of the roof to contend with especially during the night. Hitting my head twice during the night. We did choose the cheaper room, but didn’t expect a room with access to one window which looked upon the storage room which had the window open. They did make provision for any weather conditions supplying fans and heaters to plug in. The restaurant was very good and the setting in the garden was delightful. The service was very good. Breakfast was reasonably enjoyable. Overall an experience in many ways.

Poorly managed with NO staff.

This hotel is located on the edge of town centre in the middle of an on going construction project. Our room was over top the kitchen and we heard everything taking place in the kitchen.( chopping, washing and conversation) . Dinner was ok, there were children running in the dining room our entire dinner. When we asked to check out early, there wasn't anyone there to help us... We asked for a refund for two nights stay and was refused by the waiter who had some unknown person on the telephone. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL at all.

Sehr gutes Hotel am Rand von Augsburg

Italienischer Familienbetrieb, sehr freundlicher Service, sehr gutes Restaurant zu angemessenen Preisen, kostenlose Parkplätze. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Schwacher Wasserdruck in der Dusche und schwer einstellbare Wassertemperatur.

Sehr gutes Hotel etwas außerhalb Innenstadt

Etwas außerhalb, mit Auto in 10 min zu erreichen. Freundliches Personal, großes Zimmer in Dachetage (Achtung: kein Fahrstuhl), sehr gute Ausstattung mit Kühlschrank, Klimagerät, sogar Luftreiniger (nicht genutzt), neues Mobiliar, großes Bad mit Dusche. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Abendessen auch sehr gut und preiswert. Parkplatz auf dem Gelände war belegt durch Restaurant-Gäste (Freitag Abend), aber genug Parkplätze auf Straße. Gern wieder.

Dieses Hotel gehört für uns zum Augsburgbesuch

Wiederholt hier, immer noch begeistert. Detaillierte Beschreibung bereits im Mai 2022 verfasst. Wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne hierher, schönes Zimmer mit großem Bad - sehr sauber aber nicht steril, Mobiliar fast antiquiert, das Bett ist für uns perfekt, nicht zu hart, nicht zu weich, TV, Kühlschrank, Klimagerät. Sehr freundliches Personal, tolles mediterranes Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Im hauseigenen italienischen Restaurant - wer möchte auch mit Außengastronomie - ist für jeden etwas dabei, außer Pizza, frische Salate und Pasta gibt es auch eine sehr gute gehobene Küche und exellente Weine. Ihr seid super, wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch. Vielen lieben Dank für alles.

Mediterran mitten in Augsburg

Ein schöner mediterraner Kurzurlaub mitten in Augsburg. Wer hier schnell, schnell erwartet, ist völlig falsch. Es geht hier mediterran zu, in der Ruhe liegt die Kraft, Geduld ist eine Tugend. Kostenloses Parken, großer Außenbereich mit Gastronomie. Check-in sehr freundlich, unkompliziert. Im italienischen Restaurant findet jeder sehr leckere Gerichte, durchgehende Küche, tolle Weinkarte, alles sehr gut besucht. Auch hier ist nichts auf die Schnelle, mediterran halt, urgemütlich. Personal freundlich und professionell. Frühstücksbuffet typisch italienisch, Wünsche werden erfüllt, grandioser Cappuccino. Türverschlüsse gewöhnungsbedürftig, hier müsste dringend nachgebessert werden. Sehr großes Zimmer & Fensterbad, leiser Kühlschrank, Klimagerät. Dass der TV nach 4 Tagen weiterhin nicht funktionierte war für uns kein Problem, fingern halt zuviele Gäste dran rum. Für geheingeschränkte nicht unbedingt geeignet, es sind immer mind. 12 hohe Stufen zu überwinden, es gibt keinen Aufzug, keine Rampe. Es ist sauber, aber nicht steril.

Tolles Frühstück - aufmerksamer Kellner :) Für das Geld jedoch zu "alte" Ausstattung/Zimmer - kein WLAN Empfang im Zinmer selbst - kein warmes Wasser im Zimmer (!) Wurde anscheinend abgestellt und erst nach mehrmaligem darauf hinweisen wieder angemacht.
