The Casa del Sol is a quaint/unique B&B located close to Lake Travis. It is a little on the older side but clean and well maintained with very friendly staff. Highly recommend for relaxing few days.

It is a special place. Even more beautiful than the pictures. They were gracious and accommodating. Pool and hot tub were in a zen like garden. Definitely returning next time I come to Austin.

Hidden gem. The room was very nice and the "garden" area was a secluded enclave. Excellent breakfast pastries with other options. It's wonderful to stay in a B&B that actually serves breakfast, as opposed to those named as such but only providing a bed.

The pastries that are refreshed everyday were delicious, our hosts were so nice and easy to contact. We had a late flight out and she let us check out later which was really helpful. We'll definitely stay here again if we come back to Austin.

The Armadillo

I loved the Armadillo Airstream. It’s small quarters, but for one person it's perfect! The pasties and and OJ and organic coffee replinished each afternoon and dailey housekeeping makes this getaway so relaxing. The views of Lake Travis and the wooded area is amazing!

Super cute and fun Airstream. I enjoyed it so much. To me, it was glamping. I appreciate the breakfast was already in the fridge and the pastries on a covered cake plate for me in the morning. The view was nice.

Highly Recommend

The view was spectacular! The property is so beautiful. I would suggest the Armadillo be for someone who is slender to average build, as it was a little small for me. The breakfast was delicious, and the owners were very pleasant and courteous. The property is secluded while still being close to all sorts of shopping, restaurants and other tourist attractions.

Wonderful Experience

It was such a wonderful experience for me and my wife. It was very clean, calming, and the view was beautiful. We went to visit Lake Travis and go on hikes. Next time I look forward to booking at the same location. It was always from the city which is also something I enjoyed. Management was sweet and pleasant definite worth booking.

This was the cutest property. It was surrounded by trees and plants and there was a nice pool and outside shower. Our "room" had a living room, dining room table, bedroom and bathroom. They had a continental breakfast in our room every morning (granola, pastries, milk, yogurt, fruit.) The check in was effortless-the door was open and the key was already in our room.

This is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. It was the perfect getaway for a few days spent together before my husband deployed. Quiet, beautiful rooms, with private outside areas for each. The pool is fantastic with the prettiest fountain in the middle. Plenty of fun dining options within a 20 minute drive. I would love to bring our kids and their spouses for a long weekend. Or my friends. We’re from Oregon and I’ll be back. Thank you to our wonderful hosts!
