Krungsree hotel looks like a lavish large hotel from 1980s era. While it is nice clean big but it looks dated in comparison to modern hotel expectations.. A simple half litre water bottle will be charged. The rooms are all good , clean. Breakfast is lavish, large spread, although not to the likings of a typical indian vegetarian taste. Hasgood parking space for both cars as well as scooters.

Great location

Great location. Close to train station. Perfect for 2 nights and visit ayuttahya. Good restaurant near the river and good music played by 2 peoples during dinner.

The Hotel is located adjacent to the Historic Park Island. The Hotel is well appointed & the Staff are Cheerful, courteous & ever ready to assist. The Chinese Restaurant in the Hotel is 1st rate & there are [Local] dining options within walking distance. If I visit Ayutthaya again ; I will stay here.

Large hotel, large rooms.

Lovely large hotel with pool. The rooms were very clean. The cleaning staff were very friendly. Breakfast was varied for every taste. The bed was very firm which was not to my taste but it may be okay for others. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice hotel along the river.

The hotel is ideally located within the city center and along the river. Though it may be a bit dated, but it is still clean. Driving to and from the hotel may be a bit confusing for some.

Comfortable and good value for money

Great location for the station, and good value for money. Breakfast was good with a mix of western and Thai dishes and a egg/ omelette option. The pool and gym was fine for us and the front office staff very helpful.

Second time here. Amazing locaton close to train and water taxi. Staff were attentive and service outstanding. Excellent value for the price paid. I would recommend for sure.

Staff was excellent. The room was very clean. We could not get hot water to shower but the warm water was OK for Thailand. The breakfast bar was very good. The restrurant serves good food with many choices and maybe the best cheese burger in Thailand.

Good hotel

I think Krungsri is the only 4 star hotel in Ayutthaya. Just 10 mins walk from Ayutthaya railway station. Good hotel on the outside of Ayutthaya Island. To get to Ayutthaya historical park, you take a tuk tuk for 100 to 200 baht. Alternative you walk to the station ferry pier and take the ferry across to Ayutthaya Island for 10 baht per person and walk 30 mins. Excellent breakfast. Good size quiet room. Only complaint about the room is insufficient power points for charging phones.

Wonderful old timey style room. It was very nice and clean, however it did feel a bit out dated. The bed was stiff and sheets were scratchy. The shower took awhile to heat up, and the air was slow to cool. There was also a loud band playing outside until around 10-11pm. It's a wonderful property, but in desperate need of updates.

Pitiful western choice's for breakfast in the Pa Sak Coffee shop restaurant. Lazy room service, had to ask for teabags and to replenish the water. The bathroom appears to be upgraded as from the previous reviews which is a positive but the beds and pillows are very hard and uncomfortable. The Lieto restaurant and Pub is closed. The Chinese restaurant Gu-Cherng is excellent. The traditional thai restaurant Suan Rim Num is in an outdoor area which is nice at night. Another positive were the young man and woman who made great cocktails for us at the small cafe/bar in the Lobby area. All restaurants open at 5pm and we couldn't see any lunch availability. The reception staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful. Total waste of time asking them about anything, you may as well go and ask the Tuk Tuk drivers on the road because they are helpful.
