I stayed here on business for one night. Safe under-cover garage parking, a good choice of food and drinks. The room was clean and comfortable. Room rate includes access to the Bad Orb swimming pools and also the FKK Sauna area directly connected to the Hotel. Breakfast was great with cold meats and also a range of hot foods both buffet style.

This hotel's nightly rate includes access to five swimming pools. They are modern pools with indoor and outdoor swimming. One pool is a 50 meter long Olympic size pool for lap swimming. There's a full service spa available, but that's priced separately. Bad Orb is a world class spa town, and their concert hall and Kurpark are right next to the hotel.

Ich war bzgl der Bewertungen ein wenig zurückhaltend, aber ich komme absolut begeistert von diesem Urlaub heim. Das Interieur des Hotels war sehr angenehm, das Frühstück ein Traum, das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und der brutale Pluspunkt - der Zugang zur Therme - macht jeden Aufenthalt zur Erholung.

Vielfältiges Frühstücksbüffet, individuelle Eierspeisen auf Bestellung möglich. Insgesamt sauber, allerdings sind vor allem die Zimmer sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Für eine Nacht in Verbindung mit der Therme - optimal.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und auch die Einrichtung war zeitgemäß. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Schlecht war die Parkplatzsituation für die Hotelgäste, heißt, kein Parkplatz frei. Die Hotelbar hat nicht, wie beschrieben, bis 24 Uhr geöffnet, letzter Ausschank um 23 Uhr, wir haben aber um 23:15 gnädigerweise noch ein Bier bekommen. Die Lobby und das Restaurant waren sehr ordentlich und sauber, aber nicht zeitgemäß eingerichtet, besonders ist hier der Teppichboden zu erwähnen, der im ganzen Hotel ausgelegt ist.

Der Thermenbereich hat den Kurzurlaub schön gemacht! Wir hatten 2 Zimmer gebucht. Ein Basic Zimmer und ein Comfort Zimmer. Wir hatten eine Baustelle vor unserem Balkon. Es war bereits ab 7:15 Uhr sehr laut. Man konnte uns kein anderes Zimmer anbieten. Am Abreisetag wurde wir morgens angerufen, dass wir nun in ein anderes Zimmer umziehen könnten. Am Abreisetag? Uns hat es sehr geärgert, dass wir vorher nicht auf die Baustelle hingewiesen wurden. Sie besteht seit Monaten und wird mind. bis Januar 26 weiterbestehen. Das kann man im Buchungsportal erwähnen und die Preise müssten auch dahingehende angepasst werden. Es gab keine Entschuldigung (z.B. ein Gutschein für einen Cocktail an der Hotelbar oder eine Flasche Sekt auf dem Zimmer, oder oder) An der Rezeption läuft alles sehr durcheinander. Angeblich gibt es nicht genug Chip - Armbänder und wir bekamen 1 Chip-Armband und 1 Zimmerkarte. Am Abend haben wir nochmal gefragt und da war ein Tausch kein Problem. Das Duschgel im Bad war nicht aufgefüllt, der Duschkopf konnte nicht an der Stange festgestellt werden. Wir haben an der Rezeption bescheid gegeben. Leider wurde am nächsten Tag nichts davon erledigt. Den Zimmerboy habe ich nach Duschgel gefragt, er hat mir dann 2x hintereinander Bodylotion gebracht. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Personal dort auch sehr aufmerksam! Leider muss ich sagen, dass wir diesmal von dem Hotel sehr endtäuscht waren. Die Therme hat uns weiterhin sehr gut gefallen.

Lage ist toll, direkter Zugang zu den Thermen ist toll, Frühstück ist toll. Der Rest na ja. Viel Lärm durch Bauarbeiten - das ist je nach Reisezeit dann halt persönliches Pech. Und ein paar Euro könnten in ein gutes W-Lan investiert werden - das ist heutzutage eigentlich Pflicht.

Das Hotel macht von außen keinen guten Eindruck und versprüht den Charm eines sanierungsbedürftigen Plattenbaus- was bei näherer Betrachtung allerdings so nicht zutrifft. Das Innenleben ist angenehm und modern, bis auf den im Zimmer befindlichen, ehemaligen Kühlschrank, dessen Tür mittels Schraube notdürftig unbrauchbar verschlossen wurde....warum nur? Das Frühstück ist im Gegensatz zum sonstigen Speiseangebot und dessen Qualität sehr gut. Das Hotel ist offenbar personell unterbesetzt, ein Entscheidungsträger ist selten vor Ort, so dass halt keine verbindlichen Aussagen durch die verbliebenen Azubis trotz aller Bemühungen getroffen werden können. Das Hotel lebt von der Therme und die ist wirklich toll.

+ Das Personal ist sehr freundlich + Schön ruhig gelegen + Gemütliche Betten, Kissen, Decken + Sauber + Bademäntel und Handtücher werden gestellt + Praktischer Zutritt zur Therme durch den Bademantelgang - Therme eher enttäuschend, laut, wuselig und Auswahl an Saunen naja. 2 Saunen, mit denen wir wirklich nichts anzufangen wussten weil nur 30 Grad und eine lauwarme in der Bücher liegen ?? Wozu? Zum Aufguss in den 2 heißen Saunen hat man kaum noch Platz gefunden, so voll. Für uns hatte das keinen Wellnesscharacter. - Frühstücksraum mega voll, wuselig und laut wie in einer Kantine. Passt für uns nicht zum Faktor Wellness Neutral: Das Hotel ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Badezimmerfliesen aus den 70er und Badewanne anstatt Dusche, aber dafür sauber und ehrlich gesagt ist der Preis dafür auch ok. Wer mehr Luxus will muss sonst auch mehr Geld bezahlen. Also Preis war ok aber wir gaben uns vo. Faktor Wellness einfach was anderes versprochen.
