Die Check In Situation wurde allerdings über Expedia nicht kommuniziert, sodass wir vor dem Haus standen und nicht wussten, wie wir reinkommen. "At first glance a very strange experience at what seemed an abandoned roadside hotel.
After a couple of minutes we were greeted by the host though, and from here everything was smooth. Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms and freshly cooked meals.
The facilities, facades and ‘restaurant’ for sure needs a good hand to be somewhat more presentable and inviting, as it gives you a feeling that the place has had its time of glory in the past.

"Thought the hotel was lovely, particularly the bedroom which was a single room. The lobby was a little bit outdated, but this did not matter. The views of the lake from the restaurant and my room were stunning. Great setting."

Room 115 was adequate, I don't like the fixed cheap shower/hair and hand gel dispensers and think these let good hotels down, and also makes for extra packing to bring our own, or having to buy some there which is also annoying. The room was overlooking the outside restaurant/bar area so was a bit noisy in the evening. It's beside a huge outdoor swimming complex which was great. We had a nice walk to the lake which was beautiful. The restaurant was really good as was breakfast. It was a bit hard to find the hotel at first, but we now know to follow signs for the swimming complex."
