One night family stay

We had a perfect stay with 1- and 4-year-old kids. Hotel, the rooms and spa are very nice. Not the newest ones, but still very good and clean. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special. The walk to the downtown baden baden is doable but lengthy. However, that didn't bother us and we hoped that could have stayed longer.

Beds had a very thin duvet cover which required two duvet covers for a double bed so in effect you had two covers that were very thin to cover your body. Common sense would say a couple sleeping together would want one big cover. Asked for big cover and said none, considering it’s a very cold climate at times there, no blankets provided. Asked at reception as no telephone in room and received a short reply that they don’t have them and that’s tough luck, they couldn’t care less. God help a couple on their honeymoon!!

Das Hotel ist schön modern renoviert, dennoch sieht man die alte Substanz des Hauses an Details wie Deckenhöhe, Fassade, Fenster und Balkone sowie Innentüren. Im Bad roch es unangenehm chemisch. Ansonsten war das Zimmer schön. Weder die Rezeption noch die Servicekräfte beim Frühstück konnten für uns im Restaurant fürs Abendessen reservieren, wir mussten (Zutritt Pachtvertrag Uhrzeit) im Restaurant vorbei gehen um dort direkt zu fragen. Das erwarte ich anders. Leider war es an beiden Tagen unseres Aufenthaltes letztlich nicht möglich im Restaurant einen Platz fürs Abendessen zu bekommen. Der Wellnessbereich war sehr schön gestaltet mit Dampfbad und zwei Saunen sowie großem Innen-Pool. Einen Aussenbereich gibt es nicht.

Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen, perfekt für lange Spaziergänge durch den Park zum Zentrum mit Casino und Trinkhalle. Es wurde kürzlich sehr geschmackvoll modernisiert und der Wellnessbereich mit großem Pool sowie Fitnessbereich ist sehr schön eingerichtet und funktional. Es gibt sogar eine Außenliegefläche. Zimmer verfügen über Balkon. Abstriche gibt’s bei der Rezeption: hier war das Personal eher professionell abhandelnd, als freundlich zuvorkommend; auch die Barbesetzung und das Angebot im Vergleich zu dem, was an alkoholischen Getränken vorhanden war, war enttäuschend und der Reinigungsservice: gleich zu Beginn wird man über das Hotel iPad gebeten, die Zimmerreinigung für die Dauer des Aufenthalts abzubestellen, zumindest aber für den ersten Tag. Wir haben dann nach 3 Tagen unser Schild morgens zwecks Reinigung an die Tür gehängt, am Nachmittag als wir vom Ausflug wiederkamen, hing das Schild immer noch. Dennoch ist das Personal sehr bemüht und insbesondere beim Frühstück sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Hôtel hyper classe très bien situé à baden baden. Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Chambre très spacieuse pour une famille de 4 personnes et terrasse . Espace spa très chouette. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine. L’hôtel est juste à côté du parc. C’est parfait pour de belles balades.

Tolle Mitarbeiter vor Ort

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt und das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich und kompetent. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön, etwas gestört haben uns zu viele laute Kinder, deren Eltern sie vom Beckenrand springen lassen. Immerhin handelt es sich um ein Wellnesshotel und nichts um ein Spaßbad. Sehr schade, wenn man Erholung sucht. Besonders loben möchten wir die Küche. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht und wurden jeden Abend abwechslungsreich und kulinarisch verwöhnt.
