Loved the history of this wonderful ancient home, and the manager does go out of her way to meet your needs. Very charming, and fits the atmosphere in the lovely old town!
Beautiful historical house with a nice decor. We had commodore suite with private bath. Breakfast was delicious. The house had great homey ambiance. We really enjoyed it and the walk in the little Bainbridge downtown.
The breakfast was excellent and the room and house very nicely decorated. We couldn’t figure out how to lock the door of the green room, but otherwise had no problems. A nice stay and would come back!
It a 100+ year old house that has been converted to a B&B yet has retained the charm and character of the house as it was lived in with period furniture and decorations. If you are looking luxury go somewhere else, however, if you are looking for something peaceful and clean with friendly staff then this is your place. Did I mention it is very clean.
We had such a wonderful time staying here! Sherrie was very welcoming and the house is absolutely beautiful. The location is excellent and is within walking distance to downtown. Highly recommend!
Our hostess was away and the 2 lovely ladies (Jackie & Jessica) who greeted us & fed us were outstanding. Great breakfast and as we left early for a flight on our last day, they packed us muffins to go. Walking distance to central historic Bainbridge. Would definitely stay there again.
I found it convenient and full of charm. I would recommend staying here to any one looking to explore Bainbridge Georgia.
It is a nice restful place to meet and make new friends. The town is charming and the Bed and Breakfast owner was very helpful in suggesting things to do and places to eat. It really was a treat to stay in this B&B. I loved the town and hope to visit again soon.

Super Convenient for Downtown and the Riverfront
Welcoming and easy to settle in to. There is much potential for growth and development of toward a first rate place.
We loved this wonderful quaint Bed and Breakfast! The host and staff were so helpful and friendly. The homemade breakfast was delicious. We would highly recommend this place to anyone considering it. We will definitely be back.
Historical B&B near down town Bainbridge. Quiet location. Wonderful host. Off street parking. Pool but we didn’t have time to enjoy. I would stay here again.
Excellent host. Very pleasing and cheerful. You could tell she enjoyed her job. Always there to help and very respectable of your space. Would visit again!!!
A quiet relaxing stay. Comfortable bed. Common bathroom for three rooms, but was always available and very clean.
Catherine the owner was very courteous and makes a good breakfast.
This was a great little place to stay downtown Bainbridge. Within walking distance of the square.

The building was built in 1840 and appropriately furnished as a quaint, old Georgian abode. The bathroom and bed was ready for an update, even so everything was clean and provided a good night’s sleep. The property includes a pool, lush landscape and was quiet. The breakfast was asi good. I’ll return if I’m in Bainbridge again.

It was homey but we couldn't open the windows to look out or ventilate. Windows were stained with algae.
The Commodor is a piece of history. Its like sleeping in a room back in time. Beautiful, well kept bed n breakfast. Owners on site and are there to assistant with anything you need.

I liked the history of the place and the current owner is very nice and working hard to improve this property. There was a hurricane that went through this area last fall and it has given them a challenge to clean up the outside grounds.
Inside needs. continuing “work in process” to restore their pre- civil war house.

Yes we are continuously working on clean up from Hurricane Michael, especially with spring nearing. We are excited for the progress that is being completed daily
Very comfortable, friendly place. Everything was decorated for the holidays and we felt like we had stepped into a snow globe. Breakfast was amazing. The only negative was sharing a bathroom, but it wasn’t a problem.

Thank you so much. Yes two of our rooms do share a bathroom room across the hall. However, we do have two other rooms with private bathrooms.

Ok stay
Comfortable bed. Pretty quiet overall. Did not have daily housekeeping as advertised. Don't know about how breakfast was because it was served at 9am; so, this may not be a great place for biz travelers. Also, the rooms don't lock.
Having stayed here just a week after Hurricane Michael blew through, as expected, the grounds were in disarray(no fault to the owner or staff). The neighborhood surrounding the property is a bit sketchy. Bed and furnishings comfortable.
