The check-in process at the hotel was smooth, and I had a great experience with the front desk staff and professional kitchen employees. However, I do have a few complaints about my stay. Firstly, the bathroom in my room was moldy and had a persistent unpleasant odor. Although I reported it on the day of my arrival, the issue was not resolved during my stay.
Secondly, the constant construction noise from machinery near my room was quite bothersome. It would have been helpful if the hotel had informed guests about the ongoing construction beforehand or taken measures to mitigate the noise disturbance.
Another issue I encountered was with the hotel's laundry service, which accidentally tore my expensive Levi's t-shirt and didn't inform me about it until I returned to Australia.
Lastly, on the day of my checkout, I ordered a meal but couldn't eat at the table due to a red chair provided in the room. This resulted in a few drops of oil staining the bed. I felt embarrassed and uncomfortable when the front desk staff publicly addressed the issue, although they later claimed it was a removable stain.
Despite these complaints, I might consider returning to the hotel in the future, mainly because of the service recovery regarding the bed incident. However, I hope they can improve on the mentioned aspects for a better overall experience.
