"I emailed the hotel to let them know I would arrive very late in the night and they never acknowledged receipt, so it’s no surprise I had issues accessing the property. The “welcome email” I received before arrival listed a code for a customer portal that linked to a broken URL, but was actually for the property’s outer gate. The owner was kind to reach out to me to make sure my arrival would not be during a time that might conflict with a scheduled appointment. She gave great recommendations and provided a tasty breakfast. I wish I’d had more than one night because it was lovely."
