Great location, friendly staff. No parking on site but public parking about 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Wonderful updated clean hotel. Breakfast was just okay, compared to other breakfast spreads in the area. Other than that, it was excellent.

The staff are very nice. The pillows, bed sheets and duvets are very comfortable. Book a room with a river view is a must.

The location for this hotel could not be better. You are in the river. It is cute and quaint. Sadly we were there on the hottest day of the year and they do not have air conditioning. There was also not a fan. The rooms were a bit lacking. No coffee in the room nor a refrigerator. Also no phone to contact the desk. So if you need another towel you have to go to the desk. I booked a king size bed as a single but only got one pillow and one towel. I thought that was a bit odd.

Great hotel in perfect location
Fabulous town, perfectly located hotel and terrific staff. Renovation of hotel was done 10 years ago and everything is in superb condition. Would be thrilled to have stayed longer.

A delightful stay!!
Our stay at Hotel Nepomuk was delightful. It was quiet, very clean, wonderful served breakfasts in a lovely dining room, and a very friendly staff. Hotel is located in a very historical part of town and right on the river near the famous Alte Rathouse.

Three star location, one star quality
Location and restaurant food were good but room was very basic. Bed was rock hard, pillow was too firm, shower was tiny with poorly designed detachable shower head. Front desk did not seem to know their recommended restaurants were closed for the season or on Mondays. Very disappointed.

We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay at our hotel. Of course the hardness of the mattress is always depending on personal preference. We apologize for any inconvenience. Also please apologize that our staff does not always know the current opening hours of restaurants. Since a reservation is necessary at most locations, we know it while trying to make a reservation.

Surrounded by historic buildings on the river in the old town. Good outdoor restaurant cafe overlooking the river. Convenient walk to shopping, restaurants, and historic sights. The rooms are spacious with river views of varying degree. Reasonable rapid laundry service if you need a few shirts or pants washed and pressed. The only negative is it can be noisy if you have windows open (no air conditioning) until midnight.

Great location
Location was awesome. Literally right on the water and close to all main attractions. Parking was easy. We parked in a garage nearby but you can drive up to hotel to unload Front desk staff was very friendly a d helpful. We realized to late that you have to prebook for breakfast and dinner. It was all ok though. We ate out front at their other restaurant and food was amazing. We chose an early breakfast so we were able to eat. Great selection as well. Our waitress, Anastasia, was absolutely lovely. No air conditioning. Not an issue as it was comfortable at night with windows open. Didn’t worry about bugs. Since hotel sits over river the water is constantly moving so no mosquitos.

Bamberg Beer Run
Perfect location and Hotel decor!! Room had a good view, bed was to soft however!! The Bar and restaurant in the hotel had excellent service with fantastic food and famous local beer!! Pet friendly is always great with good bathroom area about 500 meters away over by where we have to park! One night was 18€! Lots of good places to walk and take pictures!!

Great hotel in Bamberg. Unique location in the "middle" of the river that runs through the town adds to the ambiance. Friendly and helpful staff.

Gorgeous river view!
Good shower, good food, nice reception, charming goodbye. Church bells ringing through windows that opened for fresh air and photos. Close walk to shopping and old town restaurants. The only thing not great is that you need to offsite park and it is kind of a maze to find it again.

This place was amazing! Right in the middle of the river. View room was just wonderful. Easy to walk around and explore. The only issue we had was the check in. When we arrived I knew in advance they offered valet parking. And after driving all over Rothenburg old town to find parking, we decided valet parking sounded great. Our GPS took us right to the hotel’s front door where we parked and my husband went in. He came back out with directions to a parking garage and told me he asked for valet parking but the clerk acted like she didn’t know what he was asking for and showed him directions to a parking garage. Not happy, so I went in and told the clerk I wanted the valet parking and that it’s clearly advertised on the website that it’s offered. She then changed her tune and took the car.

This is a well located hotel with very modern furnishings. It was comfortable. Our bathroom was not cleaned very well each day, but otherwise the hotel was clean and well run. They had an a la carte breakfast which didn't appeal very much. The hotel restaurant was excellent and we enjoyed a dinner there.
