โReally nice stay and Mark was very friendly and helpful. He suggested places to go and breakfast provided was very tasty and to exact requirements.
I would highly recommend as it is near the castle and other places to visit such as the beach and museum.

โUnfortunately, the check-in at this hotel was one of the worst Iโve experienced. Firstly, they do not accept American Express, which was inconvenient and not clearly stated in advance. The receptionist then struggled to process my alternative card, insisting it didnโt work. I politely asked her to try again and of course, the card worked perfectly the third time, confirming it was a user error on her part.
What made the situation worse was her lack of apology or acknowledgment of the mistake....

โThis was a rabbit warren of a hotel, with rooms of all shapes and sizes scattered throughout the site. We were initially given a very dark room, which was a strange shape, and a yapping dog next door; we were given a much better room when we complained.
There was a problem with the wifi connection throughout our stay, and as the mobile phone signal was poor, we had to leave the hotel to get an internet connection.
There was insufficient car parking on site and so we had to pay ยฃ10.80 per day at...
โA great base for walking or cycling. Friendly helpful staff. We had a twin room which was comfortable and had everything we needed. The set up works really well as the rooms are separate from the Inn with an entrance for residents to access the restaurant for meals. I would certainly recommend a stay. โ
โGlebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay. The location was superb with views out to sea from the cottage and hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. I read other peopleโs reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. Itโs really thoughtful of the owners to mow the edges of the fields so you can easily walk to the coast or to Embleton village without going on the road.
