"This property was perfect for us. It made traveling to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park easy since it's located near the highway. The staff was extremely helpful in offering recommendations and they were always super friendly, which is a plus! The breakfast was delicious and kudo's to the staff lady who maintains the food. She did an excellent job at keeping the food coming so there was never any wait time. I, especially liked the quiche cups...so good! I would definitely recommend Fairfield Inn by Marriott Bangor."

"The room was very spacious and comfortable. I think my only complaint would be the first impression. When I entered the lobby and approached the check-in desk, two employees were standing there, looked up at me, and neither uttered a word. I could see that one was on the phone and also chatting with the other gentleman who was looking something up on the computer related to the call, as they conferred with each other as they spoke with someone on the other end of the call. The gentleman who wasn't on the phone didn't care to acknowledge me or greet me. Not even a, "We'll be right with you," which is what would be acceptable and expected. Hospitality relies on human interaction, especially when it comes to the front line of welcoming guests. The other staff that I spoke with subsequently were kind and helpful. This gave me the impression that the other two gentlemen on my first encounter with the property were certainly not the standard in how these workers are trained. Other than that, the property was very clean and comfortable. Thank you"
