This property exceeded my expectations. Every aspect of my visit was wonderful. Check in and staff could not have been more helpful. The room was comfortable clean and updated. Breakfast had plenty of options, fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, sausage, breads and more. Location was perfect with restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Walkable to all the bar harbor restaurants, bars and shopping.

The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the parking was easy. They provide a continental breakfast which came in handy for our early hiking days in Acadia National Park, which is just minutes away from the motel.

This was a lovely property to stay at. The rooms were clean and well appointed and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic. I wish we'd had time to check out the pool as that looked great too!

Wonderful location!
The location was perfect for walking to restaurants and shops! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent- so friendly, courteous and helpful. We loved having the heated pool available for swimming. It was a great way to relax after a busy day in the park and shopping. The breakfast was also wonderful! We were so glad we chose to stay here!

Great Stay!
The Villager is centrally located on Bar Harbor and it was an easy walk to all things downtown. It is a quick ride to explore all Acadia National Park has to offer! The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We highly recommend this place!

A Fantastic Find
Our stay was wonderful! It exceeded my expectations! After our stay in Bar Harbor we spent the following night in a Boston hotel that was over double the price and it did not come close to our Bar Harbor experience! The Bar Harbor Villager Inn is fantastic and we will stay there again!

What a jewel! I am so glad we stayed here. The location was perfect - in the middle of town and close to everything. The staff was so helpful and friendly and the housekeeping was perfect - very clean. Loved it!

I dont have a bad thing to say. The rooms were so clean. The Amenities were great. Morgan that checked us in was so helpful and accommodating. We got a coffee mug cookie Hot chocolate and a mask in a nice bag when checking in. I will not hesitate to stay here again. The breakfast in the morning was simple and good. They also had a large heated pool.

Great location.
The location is great. Right downtown walking distance to shops and restaurants, Acadia National Park a short drive away. The room was very clean and extra precautions were made for Covid-19 protocols with housecleaning. Heated pool and breakfast. We would stay here again.

Unique property located in the perfect spot in Bar Harbor. A short walk to everything. The staff was incredible! Rooms are clean and up to date. Breakfast was quick and simple. Morgan (the front desk manager was over the top in accommodating even the smallest need. We arrived as guests, and left as friends with all of the staff. Don’t let the low price scare you. This motel is a diamond on the rough!

Get A Way Long Weekend
Bar Harbor Villager is a home run. Everything is within walking distance. The staff is friendly, rooms are clean. I will definitely be coming back to this motel.

The affordable GOAT of BH. My husband and I have been visiting Maine since 2018, and the Villager has proven itself year after year to be a friendly, warm, and welcoming constant. For us, their pricing ( thx student loans), location, free breakfast (major key), and wicked staff make ALL the difference. From Housekeeping to Front Desk, every staff member we've crossed paths with shows Villager guests the utmost respect, and is as accommodating as they possibly can be. Shoutout to Morgan... thanks for giving me ~100x bandaids this past year and keeping us apprised of the latest town gossip and the nightly shenanigans that ensued each evening on our walk back to our room from Ivy. Best nightcap ever. We'll be back in the Fall and are already putting in the PTO lolz #worksucksiknow

Great experience at the villager motel
My husband and I had an awesome stay at the bar harbor villager motel. The staff was very friendly and recommended places to eat and see. The room was clean and comfy. Best part was the location. Right in the heart of the downtown area everything was in walking distance. Free on site parking so we just left the car and explored without having to worry about paying and finding parking. Breakfast is included, it’s not much but it’s better than paying for breakfast somewhere. You can get coffee and tea all day in the office. We having nothing bad to say about our stay and would definitely recommend staying here. Next time we visit we will stay at the villager motel again.

Everything was clean and comfortable. It was very close to everything we wanted to see and do. The staff left us park there before check in so we wouldnt miss a tour we had booked. Parking in the town is very difficult. The continental breakfast was decent. We were able to eat and head out for the days activities quickly.

Excellent location in the heart of Bar Harbor Downtown with lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Easy access to Arcadia. Free onsite parking. Very nice front desk people. Good wifi signal. Free continental breakfast (but I didn't eat breakfast there). Rooms are updated, comfortable, and spacious. Would stay again.

This motel was amazing- had more of like a hotel vibe to me- very clean, very well stocked with towel, they had bath and body works products for shampoos, conditioners, body wash- Very close to everything in town, walkable distance to everything and a very short drive to Acadia National Park.. Front desk was so helpful whether it be dinner recommendations or what trails to do, they were amazing. I would 10/10 recommend and would definitely stay here again.
