The place itself is unique, very quiet amazing views all around, very clean inside the apartment and the place is very nice, the owners are amazing, kind , lovely people, can’t wait to visit them again, we can highly recommend it to anyone interested visiting this part of the country. We really liked the place.The owners are very talkative and friendly. Always willing to help with anything. We rented the apartment and it was very well equipped. It even had its own picnic bench for relaxing. Having a drink outside. The place is super quiet and great for getting away from the city for a few days. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Moorlands B&B this June and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Desi and Mark were fantastic hosts, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean, and the delicious breakfast each morning was the perfect start to the day. The location is ideal, with direct access from the garden to the Lynton & Barnstaple Steam Railway for a lovely short steam train trip, making it a great base for exploring North Devon. The surrounding views are absolutely breathtaking and added to the charm of our stay. We highly recommend Moorlands B&B to anyone visiting the area and would love to come back in the future!

A little bit of heaven in Devon ( Cream First! )

Moorlands was perfect for us as they don’t allow dogs. Beautiful location lovely sea views and very peaceful. Impeccably clean and the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. The hosts mark and desi were very friendly and accommodating and like old friends upon meeting them and we can’t wait to stay again as it’s perfect for exploring the coastal paths.

We just returned from our stay at Moorlands over the May Bank Holiday weekend. We were two families with three children and had hired two apartments at the property. It was a lovely and comfortable place with all the home-like amenities you could need — every detail had clearly been carefully thought through. We arrived quite late on Friday due to the Bank Holiday and half-term traffic, but the owner, Mark, was there to greet us at check-in (well past 11pm) and helped us settle in straight away. Both Mark and Desi, his wife, were always available whenever we needed advice on planning our day or had any questions about the property itself. Their hospitality genuinely made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The Moorlands is a beautiful property in a fantastic location, perfect for families looking for a relaxing break. The apartments were clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you again to Mark and Desi for making our holiday so enjoyable — we would definitely love to return in the future.

Moorlands is set in beautiful grounds with stunning views. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Lovely breakfast selection. Our room was quite small but extremely clean. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
