"Location and parking great, ASDA close by, very comfortable, plenty of tea/coffee and staff very friendly. Just as a North American, i found the bathtub hard to climb in and out of. Great stay."

"Fairly large room, good view of the town, central location. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk, kettle in room. even an iron and ironing board. The TV was small but worked well. Access is via a long staircase over 3 floors pending on which room you get, best to travel light or it can be bit of a haul. We have used ML lodge before and would use it again, its great value for money. One tip, lock your door from inside/outside as it does not lock automatically on closure to avoid unexpected interruptions...

"Booked the house to stay, 5 months in advance. Had no contact from the owner, so emailed with 1 month until stay date. Was assured everything was fine. They contacted a week and half before stay date to cancel due to routine maintenance. Three hours on the phone to book somewhere else, to be told I had to wait 72 hours before we could rebook. Asked to have my money back and was told 14 days for a refund. Shocking service!"

"We did not get a code for check in and the phone number shown on the booking wasn’t working. We had trouble contacting the owner and had to find a way to contact them via different website. We ended up booking a different hotel and wasted 3hours outside the building. "

"First impressions are important. The exterior of this hotel is like a horror movie. Inside the theme continues. It's very dated. But if you like quirky seaside hotels then this place is for you. I think someone was smoking in their room because I could smell cigarette smoke. My room had a farty odour. I can't really complain for the price I paid. It was close to a nice Nepalese restaurant and also a convenient store. And is close to the seafront too but a fair way from the town and amusements. "
