가성비 좋아요.
우선 역에서 가까워요. 도착하던 날 비가 많이 왔는데 역과 멀지 않아 비를 많이 맞지 않았어요. 객실은 작고 낡은 느낌은 들지만 깔끔하고 조식은 기대할만큼은 아니지만 배는 채울 수 있어요. 다만 챙겨간 샤워기 필터에 녹가루가 잔뜩 걸러져 나오더라구요. 걸러진 물에서도 녹 냄새가 나서 민감하신 분은 필터를 꼭 챙겨야할듯요. 이점만 제외하면 괜찮았네요.

Close to the SBB station (i.e. a good location), Excellent breakfast on the top 8th-floor with a wonderful view, Kind staff, Comfortable bed and quiet room. Everything was satisfactory with the Metropol Basel hotel. Strongly recommended!

바젤역과 도보 2분거리여서 접근성이 매우 좋았으며 이코노미 싱글룸이었는데 더블 베드였고 방도 넓었습니다. 다만 4층에 묵었는데 집기실이 있는 층이여서 그런지 이른 아침부터 너무 시끄러웠어요.

이번 여행 최고의 숙소
급하게 바젤에서 1박하는 바람에 바젤역에서 가깝고 저렴한 호텔을 찾았습니다. 역에서 3-4분 거리이며(스타벅스 바로 옆) 너무너무너무 상태도 좋고 객실도 넓고 직원분들도 굉장히 친절해서 이번 여행에서 가장 맘에 드는 숙소였습니다. 감사합니다.

It wasn’t a great stay. We didn’t have hot water the first day, and the ventilation system seemed out of service for the 3 days. We stayed end of March, and room temperature climbed to 27C every night. We kept windows open during the day to cool the room, but it wasn’t possible at night due to the traffic. At these heatwave level temperatures, it was difficult to get babies to sleep. Even though the staff knew about issues, they didn’t offer options or to relocate. Otherwise, the property is clean.

This is one of the hotels in the sorounding of the Basel Train Station. Most of the reception and dining facilities are provided in the neighbor Euler Hotel. I was there only one night, checking in at 6 pm and leaving next morning at 4:30 am, so I had no time for breakfast and only used the room. Room was quite small but was well furnished and clean.

No working air conditioning
We stayed here just for one night as a stopover and found it extremely uncomfortable. It was 22C degrees outside and when we arrived into the room it was like walking into a sauna. There was no air conditioning that worked. The windows opened fully so allow air in but it was very noisy outside with traffic so wasn’t ideal keeping these open all night long. Upon checking out there was no member of staff on reception and the auto check out machine wasn’t working so we had to just abandon our key on the reception desk and hope it would be ok. Not a great stay.
