“The owners, Maria and John are very friendly and accommodating! John remembered us from last year! All the restaurant food is homemade and very good. The views from the motel and restaurant are breathtaking, we saw an eagle, sea birds and dolphins!! The motel needs some upgrades, but as it stands, it adds to the experience! We will be returning for our 4th visit!!”

“It was very roomy and comfortable for our 4 night stay. The staff was very accommodating and we DID have a few requests such as extra pillows which we were pleasantly supplied. The evening receptionist was so sweet and inviting, especially after a long day of driving she greeted us with a smile and pleasantries. The location was convenient to Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg and the scenery on the lake was great. On the downside parking was terribly tight. What could be helpful would be a bar at...

“Memories of a real motel from my youth. Park right by your own door, room was spotless and cozy, and modern amenities like fridge, microwave and large TV. Mattress was nice, firm enough for a change with some body. Locale was suburb residential, and nice to be out of the hectic city. Would recommend. Thank you guys for a relaxful wind down to a stressful day.”

“The staff was very accommodating however, the room was substandard. The first room they put me in smelled musty, they moved me to a new room which didn’t have a smell. I really didn’t feel it was value for money!”

“The room we had was large and well equipped. However, the picture on the web is deceptive. It shows chairs from pool area outside or what appear to be outside. Upon arrival we learned that there is no really nice area to sit outside. Our unit was in the back of the hotel and clearly newly built single level units. If you are looking to just renew and stay inside overnight or need this location to do day trips, it works well. It is not a destination stay as it is located in a business...
