"We stayed here before and had a great experience. Location is great and rooms are clean and comfortable. Last night however, was a regrettable experience for which we will not return.
Our room had no hot water in the tub. An issue that can happen anywhere, but the manner in which it was dealt with by the lady at the front desk was appalling.
We were told to run the tub for 15 minutes. When we returned to the front desk to say the problem was not yet resolved, she was on the phone and still had yet to call maintenance. A cupón for breakfast was offered.
We were told there were no other rooms available, yet she was still checking in other customers. After being offered a room under construction for showering purposes, we declined and engaged Expedia.
The lady told Expedia that the issue was resolved. It was not. A vacant room was found and once again, it did not have hot water and we were told maintenance was not answering the phone.
There was some back and forth at the front desk with the lady who remained clipped, unapologetic and downright rude.
Between Expedia calling the location and a gentleman named Jae talking over, another room was found, albeit 2 hours later and we settled in after 12am.
We are grateful to Expedia (and Jai at the hotel) who helped find a solution. Jai was helpful, professional and apologetic for the situation.
The lady at the front desk could benefit from conflict resolution and problem solving skills. She is not the face of a Hilton. "
