The hotel was quite nice but not exotic. The staff were very friendly, happy to translate via smartphone. The rates were excellent given the quality. The beds are HARD compared to common US mattresses. A "continental" breakfast is available, either free or for a small charge (depending on your room type/rate) that includes some hot Chinese dishes, toast, and soup, with coffee or tea. Silverware is available if you can't operate chopsticks. The hotel does not look like a hotel - it's more an office building with a hotel and a fitness club. It's a short walk to a subway station and a shorter walk to one of the bus rapid transit lines. There is not a lot of shopping in the area but a short transit ride can take you anywhere.
