Proche du métro et de la gare, permet les déplacements avec facilité.
Nous n avons pas pris les petits déjeuners, un peu onéreux...

Unfriendly reception...
Reception not friendly or helpful at all. No tourist info and hardly anyone spoke any English whatever. Shower had a very poor flow, more like mist. Nice lobby and room was good size but a bit tired/shabby.

It’s an old hotel in the city, very convenient to travel to the city and subway, not much choice to eat , staff are friendly.
An old & worn out hotel, far from its former glory
It looked really nice in the photos on the website,
It was presented as good as it could be at the time,
However for me it's the little things that make a big difference,
Firstly,
Have at least one person at the reception desk that can speak some English,
Secondly,
The carpet in the elevators is old & worn & tatty, put some new carpet in the elevators, it is one of the first things every customer sees, it won't cost much, there is only 4 to do!
Thirdly,
Replace the clearly worn out carpet in the room,
Fourth,
Clean the black mould from around the edges in the bathroom, it would only take 10 minutes,
Fifth,
Don't have broken furniture in the room, if a chair is broken then get it fixed or remove it from the room,
Asides from the issues above it was a pleasant stay & the breakfast buffet was quite nice!
We enjoyed our 14 day stay in a Superior room. The room is about 40 m2 but almost half of space is occupied by a very large bathroom and the living area can seem a little compact.
The room was well equipped and very clean with good wifi. The staff were friendly and helpful, The daily servicing and cleaning were also very good.
The hotel spa was an excellent welcome after a day of sight seeing.
The breakfast buffet was OK with enough local and Western choices.
The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the Jianguomen metro station. There are also bus routes 52 to Tianmen Square and 20 to Qianmen shopping area.

This place sucks!
Air conditioning did not work even though they supposedly "fixed" it - therefore a terrible night with little sleep. It took 45 minutes to get 2 club sandwiches in the restaurant. There were only 2 other customers at the time. The "pool" requires no bathing suits for men (I don't know about women as they are in separate area) and they repeatedly tried pulling off the swim trunks of my son and grandson and staff repeatedly dropped their own pants exposing themselves for them to better understand. It was totally weird! They left and did not swim. No one that we encountered spoke English so it was quite difficult. And my folding cot was broken and when you sat on it, it collapsed. It took a few phone calls to get it replaced with a much newer one that they could have given me the first time around. Nice location and on appearance looks really nice but I would never stay there again.
I stayed here for 6 nights which I think is more than the average stay. It’s a decent llace to stay. Having free access to the hotspring, pool and sauna is a nice feature. Our biggest issue was on the first day I noticed the air conditioning was not cold... At all. I inform them about it and they try to play off that it will come on at some point. Someone comes THREE times and touches settings which I already did and I tell them about it and they tell me to wait. After the third nothing changes and I feel that they knew nothing would change, absolutely terrible this service and care especially for someone staying there for 6 nights. Very upset with them for this. It was colder outside so I had to open the windows... if you stay make sure right away that your room has Cold air.
personnel not interested in what the customer wants do not have any idea of English and do not take some of the major credit cards. Also they want payment direct instead of wotif paying as most hotels normally do. In the end we didn't stay there and would not recommend to anyone.
the Hotel makes you very welcome and staff are happy and friendly
The rooms are clean and have all amenities you can wish for
Restaurant services and food is very good
Lovely indoor garden area for relaxing
Hotel is close to metro station and train station
Would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to be away from centre of city but with easy access
Even if it stated that the staff could speak several languages this was not the case, they could not speak more than one or two sentences in English which can become quite problematic since they also tries to save face and are afraid of making a mistake. We also had issues with the following which sometimes caused an hour of meddling back and fourth:
1. No Wifi, after a while we got it, but then really bad even if using Bing since the firewall of China
2. Suddenly a note in our room that they did not have any hot water, it was cold outside so not too funny
3. Bad lunch experience in the hotel restaurant where they also serve breakfast. After waiting for 40 minutes one of us got their food, when asking for the other main course they answered that they did not have it any longer... as simple as that.
4. No possibility to order taxis, we ended up missing a restaurant reservation since it took so long for them to let us know this was the case
5. No possibility to get help with concierge service, since they do not speak English this is a though one.
6. Our hotel room keys stopped working several times as well which became annoying after a while
We are very used travelers and have been traveling the world for years living with Nomadic families to Grand Hyatt hotels but this was a bad experience. The hotel is probably OK for Chinese tourists who can communicate, but I cannot recommend European tourists this hotel.
