Hotel is little old one, but service

Hotel is little old one, but service was good. Nice breackfast, very helpful manager and staffs were there. I really appreciated. I would like to recommend this hotel to someone who want to visit Veirut.

A landmark hotel in need of internal facelist.

The Mayflower is a landmark hotel. The exterior of the hotel is well maintained but the room neglected, particularly the bathroom and the shower. It needs major renovations.

Personnel réception potable... Petit déjeuner femme désagréable en plus le 3 café et payent mais on le dit pas... Chambre digne d'un hôtel de passe.. Et c'est pas mon premier hôtel à Beyrouth mais c'est la première fois aussi catastrophique.. Bref croyais moi 20$ la nuit c'est déjà trop cher...

The Mayflower was conveniently located for our needs but feels somewhat tired and needs a refresh in terms of some of the rooms we booked (our Junior Suite bathroom was very tired in particular, whereas the other room's bathrooms were much better). That said, the staff were always very helpful and the pub was a convenient spot to meet up and have a drink and the airport shuttle bus was a godsend for our party of six and all our luggage. Breakfast was okay (but not brilliant), although the evening meals were pretty sound and the proprietary beer decent. All in all we enjoyed our stay but there are better options in the same locale.

Sherif and the staff are amazing hosts. They make you feel like the mayflower is your home away from home. Anything you need or can’t find they will try and help you find it. An oasis of stability.

Quite decent. Worth the money paid. The area around ut has changed a bit... kind of expected. Hamra street used to be more lively.

Property was clean and is in good condition. Location is great, service and staff were super. The only complaint we have the AC was not working in July when temperature was above 30C.

It's a rather charming older hotel in a great location. I was unhappy with being unable to control the air-conditioner fan; it blew hard directly at the head of the bed. The solution was to sleep with my head at the foot of the bed. Signs around the hotel announced that breakfast would be served in the bar, but when I went there for breakfast, I was told that it would be brought to me in my room. Why bother keeping incorrect signs up all over the hotel? Other guests were noisy in the corridor at night, but I was too tired to get up and tell them to be quiet. All in all, it was fine and comfortable.

And our apologies for the restaurant's signage as we have received instructions from the ministry of tourism to send the breakfast to the room (covid-19 measures) As for loud guests, our staff would've gladly made the necessary to calm them down

Overall, it was a nice stay at the hotel for the price. Though Hamra area felt overcrowded and busy. A couple of nice restaurants in the area. Close to Raouche Rocks and the American University of Beirut. Hotel was outdated, needs some renovation. Staff overall was friendly and helpful, as Lebanese people usually are, but not without some “bad apples”, of course. It would be great if there was a kettle in the room to make some tea or coffee. Due to Covid pandemic, almost all museums in the city were closed, including some churches and mosques.

Good hotel

When I arrived I was put in the room with a lot of mosquitoes, I think it was because the window was open. I asked the staff to change rooms and He was so polite and changed rooms. In this new room everything was ok!

Centrally located - recommendable mid range hotel

Very recommendable hotel. Friendly staff. Clean and spacious rooms. Good internet connection. Decent breakfast. Central location - close to Hamra and American University. Connecting pub - a meeting point - sometimes with music (often crossover Libanese/European.). A small pool on rooftop (not working at wintertime). I would also like to recommend the two drivers associated with the hotel. Good guides, full of knowledge and excellent drivers.
