Great location. Staff very nice and helpful. Centrally located to everything. Breakfast was awesome as well. Super clean facility. Not a huge parking lot, but we also found a spot. Would choose this place again.

Our stay here was pleasant. The room was spacious which isn’t the case in some other hotels we stayed at in Germany during our trip. The front desk has drinks but you need cash in the exact amount because they don’t have change and only accept cash. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location to take advantage of the views and still have easy access in and out.

This hotel is an absolute GEM! The property has been lovingly renovated and everything was very clean. The room was comfortable and had a lovely view of the mountains, and you could hear the river when you walked out onto the balcony. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, even encouraging us to go not skip Shönau am Könnigssee (no regrets - thank you!). The breakfast buffet was outstanding! The hotel is a very short walk to the main town and the train station. Our only complaint is that we only had two nights there. We will definitely be back!

The property is built on a hill which has a beautiful view sof the mountains. ,It is a little difficult to find the hotel in the dark. There are rooms in the main inn and apartments that are a couple blocks away. The staff was extremely helpful as we came in late in the evening and the receptions made many phone calls to find a a place to eat where the kitchen is open after 8:30PM

We were a little disappointed on check in to be told we were not staying in the main hotel building but in an apartment block further up the street. We guessed this was because we were a party of three. It was a little odd as we had not read or been informed via Expedia this could be the case. Upon entering the apartment we could quickly see that the apartment was huge, tastefully decorated and well thought out. It just meant we had to walk back up the street for breakfast each morning, which was so worthwhile as it was very tasty with plenty of choice. It was a shame we didn’t use the main site’s facilities such as pool and indoor spa which would have been a bit of a faff but it was still all available to us. If you’re a couple I’m sure the rooms within the hotel are lovely. The town is picturesque and we really enjoyed our stay. Trips to the Eagles Nest and Kongissee lake are a must.

Quite a wonderful property that offers excellent value. The front desk was easy to communicate with ahead of arrival. Rooms in the newer building have relatively spacious bathrooms. The breakfast was substantial, with a large variety of cold options (meats, breads, jams, etc.) and a few hot ones (eggs, sausages, bacon, vegetables).
