The apartment was fabulous, checking in was very easy and we were able to contact staff for extra amenities. Only critique was the fully equipped kitchen did not have an oven or microwave which they should have specified in the listing.
We had a lovely time in Berlin and the location is perfect with parking nearby around the corner.
Only thing we’d like is that they had some way to sort the garbage so that you don’t have to mix food with plastic waste etc.
Kitchen stocked with utensils, fridge, cooker, but not used. Comfy bed. TV in odd position when you enter the room, but not a game changer & you can view tv from bed. Terrace view ok, but the weather wasn’t great. Decent shower, heated towel rail not working. Overall I’d stay again as didn’t spend much time in the room. Looks bigger on website but you do have room even for 2 people m. Wardrobe space enough too.
I really enjoyed this property. Check in/out was super easy. There's a tram stop right out front, so it made transport super convenient. It had a great location near restaurants, not too far from Alexanderplatz, and there are a lot of gyms nearby as well. The space was very clean, and I enjoyed the kitchenette for mornings when I wanted to cook breakfast myself. I would definitely stay here again! Bonus: there is a great view of the TV Tower from the street of the hotel.
The is no front desk reception, but it was quite an easy check in process online. The property felt safe and the room was quite large, clean, and beautiful. I really enjoyed my stay here. There was ongoing construction in the parking lot area but that was out of the hotels control.
This place really exceeded expectations. It was super convenient as it was located right next to a tram stop leading into city center. The windows and lighting were top notch. Had several floor to ceiling opening windows with shades at the touch of a button. The room was clean, modern and even came with some goodies upon check in. Will definitely be staying here when visiting Berlin again.
The apartment was clean and well appointed. The location is excellent. Quiet neighborhood close to many wonderful locations. The only complaint we had was that it advertised that it would have toiletries. It only had soap. No shampoo or conditioner which we expected since it said they have toiletries. A small issue however for an otherwise wonderful, easy place.
There is no reception and it was not clear at all that you needed to register before to receive a code so you could open the door. So I had to enter all my details upon arrival and then wait 3 hours with luggage in a cafe next door to get the code. The room was nice once inside. They should warn people by email and text that you need to register before
We were never sent an email or sms about check in info, therefore it was not possible for us to enter the hotel, because we never received the entrance code.
We tried calling the so called 24/7 help number and at the same time contacted them on Whatsapp. Only after an hour or so did we manage to talk to an actual person and not a whatsapp robot. At that point it was already around midnight. We were asked to send the documents and call them back, but yeat again we could not reach anybody on the phone.15-20 minutes later our check in was finally approved and we could enter the room.
All in all one of the worst check-in experiences ever, we were afraid we would spend the night on the street.
If one runs a raception-less hotel, the least one can do is have a good customer service in case there is need for help. Limehome is quite terrible at it.
We will never visit again and would never recommend it to anybody.
I was looking forward to staying here but it was a real letdown in so many ways.
There was no balcony,it had a door that opened outside but no balcony.
The air con wasn't working so in the middle of the night we had to open the doors to cool down, that was every night for,,5 nights .
The lighting is very dim which made it hard to read a book.
The jug was broken which got replaced after a long process contacting the call center.
We stayed for 5 nights and our towels weren't changed.
You had to download an app to communicate and gain access to the unit.
Very disappointed
Lovely room and great location... but make sure you do the online check-in in advance - this is not clear especially when you book via this website. Our stay was a bit marred by the fact that we were outside in the cold for nearly an hour trying to check-in online via our phones with bad data connection in Berlin and the staff sending us the wrong wifi code didn't help... anyway it was a great room and we enjoyed the rest of our stay!
Limehome is located just 3 stops from Alexanderplatz and near a neighborhood with many beautiful restaurants. The only wierd thing is that there are no people at the facility- everything is via email- despite there having been a reception and lobby downstairs- would be nice to re-open that and get human interaction
