Check in quick and easy, room 328, so bit of a walk to room, but good size compared with other rooms we passed. Clean and well presented. No tea and coffee facilities in room, did say you could ask for a kettle. Did not book breakfast in advance and wished we had, as cost €47 on morning for 2, the breakfast was more continental than cook. Great Italian straight across road, highly recommend.

We were delighted to be upgraded to a Dom room with a dual aspect view. A VERY LARGE ROOM WITH SUPERB AIR-CONDITIONING. We spent three evenings on the wonderful roof-top bar with high quality cocktails and friendly service. (Other evening at the Staatsoper for Debussy). The breakfast was very high quality but in the heatwave we also breakfasted next door in a great vegetarian cafe for a lighter option. All reception staff were most helpful. Hackescher Markt is our favourite area to stay and normally there is a direct S Bahn line to the airport for 5 euros...or change at Hauptbahnhof for a slightly quicker train at the same price.

Fantastic hotel in a fantastic area. Staff were really helpful and the bar area was beautiful. Our room was cosy. Only negative was it is a little noisy as our room overlooked the tram line and its quite near the train line but we just put some brown noise on and it was no problem. We were upgraded to a corner quite so we couldn't complain. We would definitely stay here again.
