A easy stay in Bernkastler-Kues Nearby everything but sadly a bit to warm room (ac didn’t work) Breakfast was 300m away and really good!!

A Gem of a Place

Beautiful location overlooking the Mosel River. Park the car in the public lot and walk about 300 meters to the hotel. Room key is in the lockbox and easy to access once you have the code. We had breakfast at the restaurant located down the street from the hotel and it was fantastic. We enjoyed the Weihnachten Festival just down the street from the hotel (100 meters).

Not again

Room #4, very small and very basic. Popular walking path right behind the window with direct view to the room so had to keep window and curtains closed all the time which made the room feel like a closet. Breakfast 300m away, parking 500m. Not convenient. Otherwise nice location close to Bernkastel Altstadt but I won't be coming again even if some other rooms may be much better.

Excellent option in Mosel

Well localized hotel in Mosel, helpful and friendly staff, great breakfast. There is no lifting in case of many luggages.

Die Heizung hat nicht funktioniert und muss überholt werden . Es war Sau kalt im Zimmer. Die hinmernsknd unglaublich hellhörig und man hat alles um sich herum gehört. Einen Ausblick gab es nicht ,denn mein Fenster war direkt am Wanderweg zu den Weinbergen …..also immer was los an meinem Fenster und es war sehr dunkel

Ungünstige Lage

Das Frühstück war sehr fein! Das Zimmer war nicht so toll: Nachdem es sehr heiß war an diesem Tag und im Zimmer keine Klimaanlage war, hätten wir eigentlich lüften müssen, jedoch lag das Zimmer direkt an einer Seitenstraße. Jeder hätte ins Zimmer hineinlangen können! Es war unerträglich in diesem Zimmer zu schlafen müssen. Im ersten Stock wäre es kein Thema gewesen, das Fenster geöffnet zu lassen. Der Lärm vom gegenüberliegenden Restaurant war gegen 23 Uhr dann auch vorbei.

Litt vanskeig å finne fram og ikke mye tilgjengelig med bil eller parkering der. Vi fikk rom i 4 etasje uten heis, og det er ikke helt enkelt for eldre mennesker med tunge kofferter. Enkelt rom med dobbelt seng og lavt under taket, men greit for en natt. Ingen resepsjon, men en må ringe resepsjon på et annet hotell for å få kode til nøkkelboksen.

Väldigt svårt och hitta hotellet , incheckningen låg sen 300 m bort på ett café .. tur vi hittade ngn som kunde engelska som hjälpte oss , nyckeln låg i ett nyckelskåp med kod . Frukosten va god ! Parkering långt bort vid kanalen .

Wir hatten zu zweit ein Zimmer (Nr.10) unter dem Dach, leider hat es sich dort extrem aufgeheizt und der Ventilator, der zur Verfügung stand, ist schon mehr als in den Jahren gekommen (Timer Defekt und laut). Leider steht das Doppelbett an der Wand, so dass einer immer über das Fußende raus krabbeln muss und nur für eine Person, ein Nachtkonsolen zur Verfügung steht. Die Einrichtung war okay und es war sehr sauber, eine Flasche Wasser stand als Willkommens Geschenk auch auf dem Zimmer Die Rezeption und das Frühstück, was man dazu bucht oder eventuell mit inbegriffen ist, wird in einen 300 m entfernten Lokal zur Verfügung gestellt. Wenn man vor Ort klingelt, bekommt man über ein Mikrofon gesagt, wie man an den Zimmerschlüssel kommt. Leider ist das sehr unpersönlich.

Absolut kein Hotelfeeling oder Komfort

Das Angebot suggeriert einen komfortablen Aufenthalt in einem Hotel, doch das ist eine Pension Garni 300 m den Berg hinauf, mit Ausnahme vom Frühstück absolut getrennt vom sehr schönen Hotel unten am Fluss.

Alles prima. Großer Balkon mit tollem Blicke auf die Mosel. Das Zimmer hat alles, was man braucht. Alles picobello sauber. Sehr zentral, alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Freundliches Personal. Klasse Frühstück mit riesen Auswahl. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.
