I do not know what to say regarding the guest not being able to reach us. We had another guest, not an Expedia booking, who reached us and had no communication problems. I do know our cellular service can be problematic. I am sorry you had such a bad experience on your trip to Bethel. I do not believe we have received any money from Expedia group. I see this was an Expedia collect so your card was billed and we then are provided a virtual card to collect our fee minus their commission. Have you requested a refund from hotels.com? If you’ve not done so please request refund and we’ll get notified and I’ll approve the refund.
