Clean and comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location, can easily drive to Washington DC in about 30 minutes. Plenty of restaurants nearby

Great stay for fraternity conference. Hotel was amazing and clean. Food bar was a little pricey but overall good. I would recommend to others

Lack of clear instructions on regulating temperature. There's a thermostat that didn't change anything temperature-wise, until I found a covered a/c unit where you lift the lid and set temps there. Also the desk reps made a honest mistake upon check-in... No room key. I had my bags at the room door and had to walk back to the reservation desk.

I booked with expedia and paid in advance. The Marriott customer service manager insisted that although I had paid and my card was on file, I needed to pay again. She called the police and had me physically removed from my bed in my pajamas when I was asleep on Christmas day and a few days afterward. Merry Christmas cheer to all Marriott customer service reps. It was unbelievable. Then I asked for a refund and was refused. I will never stay in a Marriott hotel again. Be aware that customers have choices.

Nice room, excellant mattress, tastful decor. One elevator for the whole hotel, and many rooms are far from elevator and lobby. Staff is not restocking coffee and tea. When asked the answer was "don't have enough ". Shower is very high, no flexibility. Why no hand held?!! Major inconvenience. AC had what lookrd like mold . My allergy raged.

Can’t say enough about the kindness , efficiency and helpfulness of the staff . Special mention to Judy from the front desk . So kind, warm and utterly professional !!! Business in Research Park
The hotel is very convenient to area business, restaurants, and the highway. The hotel staff are very pleasant and helpful. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms is very good.

Noisy kids roamed hallways/stairs/knocked my door
Large groups of noisy kids allowed to roam and play in the hallways and floors where their rooms were not even located, and in stairwells. They even returned to knock on my door only to run back to stairwell to make noise after my first complaint to front desk. Upon checkout, the front desk worker asked me, "do you have any hockey sticks?," and then she asked me, "did you grab one of them [the kids] by the shirt?" I asked her if I should call the police about this false accusation, and she said, "the father didn't seem concerned about it, and he said, 'if she did it, he [the kid] probably deserved it.'" She then said, "I don't think they'll do anything, you shouldn't have anything to worry about." The mob of kids backed up the one kid's false accusation about me to the front desk, AFTER I had already complained twice to front desk from my room phone. I never even stepped out of my room until I checked out. I merely opened my room door and told them I was reporting them. One kid said, "you get out of here," while I was standing in my room sticking my head out of my room door!!! Then, as they raced down the hallway, they said, "f*** you." I first learned about the false accusation at checkout, and one (1) of the three (3) females behind the front desk seemed not to believe me -- the very one whom I spoke with twice from my room phone!!!

Great Hotel
Hotel was great for a weekend getaway. The only issue was very warm in the room at night. Overall, we would come back.

Competency of staff is not as expected
Our stay was not typical of what we expect from CM. I asked for a room on the top floor and were given a room on the 2d floor. While walking to the room we learned the hotel has a 3rd floor. I returned to the front desk to inquire why I was given a room on the 2d floor with no explanation that 3rd floor rooms where unavailable. In addition, I asked a room service attendant how to get to the lobby and the person was unable to provide directions. Lastly, a room service attendant entered our room unannounced and moments after observing we entered the room minutes before.

I was a little nervous about the property when we pulled in (looked kind of run down), but inside is very nice and clean. Modern rooms and dining area. Very clean and nice staff. The little cafe in the lobby was nice with excellent french toast and Starbucks! Parking was easy, nice area far enough away from too much traffic. Would definitely stay here again!
