We had a lovely stay - staff really friendly and helpful and the whole place had a lovely buzzing atmosphere. Rooms very clean and modern, appreciated the floor fan too!
Lovely people who run the place, great bar and delicious Sunday roast.
Ideal for a stay whilst moving between locations, spending the evening with a few drinks and good food.
Our stay was amazing! Only 15 minute drive to Pen y Pass. The breakfast was great and the staff was really accommodating! Would definitely come here again!
Great and helpful staff, really good beers and food, air con in the bar area which was fantastic after a hot day hiking. Superb location for Moel Siabod.
A few teething problems as we attended after a revamp, staff were very keen to help attend to these.
Only improvement is the quality of the packed lunches, which were a little uninspiring for £12.50!
Good selection for breakfast, traditional country pub good variety of beer's limited wine selection, food was nice although limited as we stayed for 3 night
A special thank you to Ella who was extremely helpful and professional. Room was clean and modern shower was really good. There is a lack of storage space and no where to hand clothing some hangers would be welcome. All stsff were pleasant and helpful. We will be booking a stay there again
We have just returned from a lovely overnight stay at Tyn y Coed to celebrate my boyfriends Birthday, couldn't fault a thing, staff couldn't do enough for us, room was clean, warm and comfortable, the food was outstanding,we ate our evening meal there and also breakfast which was delicious. Good selection of food on offer , watch out for great value specials, the curry was great.

We will be back.
The hotel was tidy, clean, and clearly well maintained throughout my stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made everything feel easy and welcoming. Parking was straightforward and convenient, which was a big plus.
Nice hotel, helpful staff and great access to Snowdonia.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The hotel is fairly basic, the rooms look a bit dated, there was a crack in my bath surround and some staining on the ceiling, but I believe the rooms are due for refurbishment shortly, so this is likely to improve. The parking is just over the road, and is free for as long as you're staying (you can come and go without registering again apparently). The hotel as a whole was clean and tidy. The food was good but a bit pricey in my opinion, but it is a touristy area, so base your expectations on that. The real stand-out was the staff, they are welcoming and clearly enjoy their jobs, and are a perfect example of Welsh hospitality. This is a good hotel as a base to explore Eryri
